I wish I could spend a whole day reading too 😭 My kids would never allow it 😂

Lol! No not the roast! 😂 I'm doing pretty good! Same old stuff, I'm the most boring person, truly lol

These two are some of my favorites that I've gotten from the handy dandy clearance section, I don't feel like they aren't like you described but you can always read reviews on it to be safe ^0^ A lot of the books I read are older, not intentionally, it's just because that's what is generally on clearance lol Beside a Burning Sea by John Shors The Wildest Heart by Rosemary Rogers I read these last year and I was hooked on them both ^0^ They were very good!

I was seeing you're supposed to read the original Assassin's Blade book first, then the others, and then the other Assassin's blades. Idk I just found it very confusing lol

Ooo you like the sweet scents! Here's the notes from the one I just got ^0^

you can read Assassin's Blade whenever really but i always read the books with the short stories last as they are always not as important and can give away relationships and stuff if you haven't read the series

oh my goodness Rosemary Rogers, what a blast from the past, I read a bunch of her books back when I was a teenager, probably including this one. They were exactly the thing I was talking about, but it was long before I was sick of it, she was one of the originals whose sheer vitality set up the situation to become the cliche is now is. I'm glad in a way that her work has held up so well that it's still enjoyable, but I don't want to revisit that particular set of memories 😆 thanks for the nostalgia vibe though. As for the other one, I am not sure, I looked at it in Goodreads and it's a definite maybe, has some appealing aspects and some not so much so. I'll read the beginning and see if I vibe with the writing style! Thanks so much ❤

Have any of the on-sale books you picked up happened to be sci-fi or mysteries that you liked? Or books about people who are unusual, off-beat, eccentrics? That's usually my catnip 😆

- I just read through chapter 24 and they have just given her a bath. roflmao Iit was endearing up to the point she saw herself for the first time. That was bittersweet. I'm already caring about the characters so that's a good sign. :D

- Oh,, no you're not the most boring person. I am. You run after your kids and take care of them all day. I sit in my recliner throne and do nothing. They won't even let me help out with the cleaning anymore. Something about making messes bigger that I don't understand. I do not make messes bigger... XD 😂

- I see you've found your way to Di-Kat and met Colorful. She's a sweetheart and thiss group is awesome. I've made a lot of friends here. You should feel right at home. :D

Aww that's so wonderful! I hope that one day I get to be a grandmother too ^0^

Ok so then I should read the series first and then the short stories afterwards? I'm so excited to get those books though, everyone raves about them ^0^

Bahahaha! Yeah I kinda like the older books a lot 😂 I actually don't read mysteries at all anymore. Ok well, that's a lie, I did read an Agatha Christie book last year. But for the most part I don't get them anymore because I read them so much when I was younger and watched so many CSI style shows that I just grew so tired of them lol. Plus, since being a mom, my anxiety isn't the best at night, and reading that type of stuff before bed isn't good for me right now. I will have to let you know if I come across any other good finds ^0^

Awww! That definitely must get boring sometimes 😭 Do you have any hobbies you're able to do besides Subeta?

- This is a second home for me on the 'net. Was I hearing you talk of books? Which authors do you like? Have you read anything good lately?

- Why, yes, I do. Books. I read like a mf. My hubby had to limit the number of books I bought from Audible because I was buying a lot. So... What have you read lately? I'm reading "Vigor Mortis" recommended to me by Truffula. It's pretty good so far. :D

- I haven't read VC Andrews but have read most of Anne Rice. I liked her older works. I stopped reading her stuff after her Taltos series because it seemed that she stopped trying, that they were duty books. Do you like Stephen King? Is horror your only favorite genre? :D

Honestly I hate horror books, but I guess there is a few that can be considered that way. Vampyre and witchy books with a great story line . Anne Rice did give in a bit after Taltos because she was diagnosed with Cancer at that time and thought it was the end for her, but she did not give in to it and continued writing beautifully written books. You should look into her newer books they were all great. No not a King reader at all, he is tooooooooooooo graphic for me to read or watch any of his shows after seeing IT I never watched anything by him again or read any books of his... Just not my thing.

- Which book of Anne Rices should I begin with? I read through to the end of the Taltos series and then stopped. I just couldn't read anymore but if she back on form then I definitely will. So, no horror. IT scared the poop out of me but I got a thrill out of it too. So, I'm a die-hard King fan. Spo, what genre books do you like? Fantasym, Sci-fi, Mystery? :D

and on that note I changed HA 😁 (also see book rec below in note to Colorful)

Oh I get it on what you burned out on when young, much the same for me in some types of books! Though this shipwreck romance story with the traitor bad guy and the war rescue and stuff sounds pretty stressful, I guess it is easier on the nerves than it sounds from the reviews ❤ Let's see a book I read recently that you might like & even might see on sale is Americanah - it's a love story and cross-cultural too, it's about a woman from Nigeria who moves to the US, and her romantic interest from back home moves to the UK, and then they find their way back together in a rather convoluted way, it's really engaging. And Diana might like it too? (I might already have recommended it to her though I don't remember)

hi welcome hope you have a great time here, this chat thread is one of the best around! I noticed everyone's talking about books now. the "Acotar" mentioned by is A Court of Thorns and Roses, and I bet since you like VC Andrews & Anne Rice that this book would be to your tastes, should maybe give it a try?

I just finished reading chapter 173. So far so much fighting and making friends, depending on how determined the person is to oppose her. grin

I am glad I got invited here, the chat is fun and colorful. the "Acotar" I will look into this book, sounds good. Anne Rice Past away 2 years ago but her writing will always be with me. I love how she writes, every person is different with different understandings. I like all sorts of book really, Vampyre, Witchy, Lycan books, but I am towards informational books, how to make something, how to blend something, how to work with something.

I would be reading a lot of books too if I were you :) Right now I'm reading Fred the Mermaid series. I actually really like it but there's a lot of bad reviews on it so it's not for everyone 😂

I've heard good things about those too! I'm super excited to get them! We finally got our taxes done so once we get it back imma splurge 😂 I will still buy them used but it will still be a splurge 😂

It's a really good everyday wear perfume! It's called English Laundry Oxford Bleu Femme ^0^ I found it at TJ Maxx for a really good price.

That's exactly what I did, I burned myself out so bad from them 😂 I can't tell you how many James Patterson's books I read 😂 Ooo I will add that book to my want to read list! It sounds like something I'd like :O

Hi frienddd! <3 Luckily it's not eggs cooked in things like baked goods, but like a boiled egg or scrambled eggs put me on the toilet 💀 Milk allergies don't sound fun at all 😭
