I'm pretty excited to have so much to watch!! Baseball I barely pay attention to when I have it on, I just find it easy to relax to. But wrestling actually makes me want to put down my phone and watch. Lol
Just by the little I've read about her I feel like her books might seem similar to Khaled Hosseini's and I loved the ones of his I read.
We're back to our normal seasonal temps. Not too hot and not too cold and nd I love it! I know you're happy about your lack of snow!
I really loved the First Law trilogy, the characters were so vivid and the meta level of the story was brilliant. I haven't been able to get into his other books much, I've started a few of them but lost interest before finishing, unfortunately.
I think it was not too violent because of what you say, how necessary to the point it all was. How exhausted the characters were, how heavily their role in the world weighed on them.
66 books, wow. I don't have it in me for a marathon like that rofl
Have you read Kencyrath/God Stalk?
definitely in that line of storytelling, yeah, I doubt she's quite as focused and intense as Hosseini but still really your type of books!
I can see that for both! :D Enjoy.
yes it is so wonderful :)

- Those are the reasons I love Abercrombie's work. I almost didn't read the sequels but pushed myself and was rewarded. Acouple of them had me scratching my head wondering why any of this was relevant only to find out how relevant it was in other books. Abercrombie really does know how to weave a web. 66books? Is that how many there are now? I know there are a lot. I haven't read the Kencyrath books yet but I looked on Audible and got the first 3 for free so I will be reading them as soon as I'm done with Vigor Mortis. The story is kind of generic right now (starving street rat makes good and tries to save their family) and the, er, fighting group, she's put into is right out of a D&D campaigne but Vida is a cheery little soul and is optimistic (fatalistic? pragmatic?) when she has every right to be horrid. I eagerly await the twists and turns that are hopefully on the way. :D
Oh good! 2 years is a nice long time at least! I hope it won't take many times either <3 I hope you're having a good day hugs
I totally have some recommendations, how do you feel about romances? 😂 Cause I found a couple of great ones in the clearance section! Bahaha XD
Oh nooooo! I'm always so bummed when the scents aren't good 😭
Ok so, yesterday I went to look at prices for the books, just so I know how much I will need. And girl I don't understand at all the order you're supposed to read the books in! LOL! It's so confusing when you look on Goodreads! HELP! 😂
Oh wow those collections sound amazing!! :O
I also collect dragon figures and cat figures. Love my stones and gems and I have way too many candles lol lol I read too much, always have a book around my nose lol

I love reading too! I've just not started getting back into it after having my kids. I have about 50 unread books waiting for me in my closet 😂
I love to read, it is my calming pass time. relaxes me when anxiety try's to take over my day. If I could spend a whole day just reading it would be awesome, but life always has something for me to do else where lol.

- I'm hoping for 3 years this time. :D I think I could risk being the sunday roast every 3 years. ;) How are you doing this week? :D
I like romances sometimes. The main kind I don't want recommendations for is the kind I've read too much of, where there's a man and a woman and the man is very "strong" or "alpha" and the woman is either very passive & in need of saving, or she's "spirited" & "feisty" ... it's fine, as its own thing, but I'm tired of that dynamic because it's I guess very popular so there's more of it than anything else, and I like a little of everything in my reading. So if it's gay or lesbian, or poly, or if it's het but the characters don't fall into that stereotype or archetype setup, and it's good, then I am interested :D
how is it confusing, just Assassin's Blade is 5 short stories and the other seven are numbered in order. Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, Heir of Fire, Queen of Shadows, Empire of Storms, Tower of Dawn and Kingdom of Ash. I'm reading the one with the short stories last.. cause I'm still meeting new characters, just meeting a Pirate Lord now.

I printed out the info you commented me. Thank you again. Slowly but surely I'll get there. I read you commenting about romance books and I totally agree about the alpha male, etc etc. I never really liked them but years ago I would read one every few years and that was enough.
Hey bebe!! 👋
I forgot what we were talking about. :-P
The backdrop? I did not know that. Interesting.
I keep meaning to Google yours to see the notes in it. What was it again? :-D I tend to like vanilla and patchouli scents the best and the Henry Rose ones I bought have several of those scents but they're very faint. I think maybe because they market them for both males and females.
I'm glad you got your wardrobe working!! That and my friends here are my favorite things about subeta.
yes - the twists start mostly after the author adds more viewpoint characters. I'm getting closer to the end and it's so wild now with the various sorts of people! Four kinds of nonhuman aliens/monsters at least, every one of them terrifying yet endearing... Vita is still kind of sweeter than she has any business being, though, that's the character *grin
yeah I guess you knew what I meant. I've read several romances in the last few years, but mostly only by a few particular authors I know I like and otherwise just specific books recommended to me.
Wow you made those shoes look great on your HA! Yes I totally agree about most romance novels. And you know for me it's all about the writing!
thanks! Picked up a bunch of restocks from subeautique this past weekend and wanted to use them (in this HA it's no only the shoes, but also the cardigan and earrings
