I agree. It's always been the intrument that's really struck a CHORD ;) with me. -giggles- Seriously, the violin was hands down the one I always wanted to play. I had some intrest in the piano and some in the cello but for me the violin was it. I was devistated when it was just too expensive to learn in elementry school. I thought my teacher was offering to lend me a cello so I excepted and instead got the string bass. Its bigger than the cello and honestly I hated it. I hated lugging it around, I hated how most songs were accompanyment so it didn't really sound that great on its own. It sort of discouraged me and all. And when I got it as an adult I was super excited. But just couldn't affort $100 a month for lessons, so this is my chance just to play. Honestly I don't even care if I get bad habits lol just let me play :P I do hope I can get some lessons, even if its once a month but at least I do have a foundation in music (I'm remembering the notes as i go) and I have high interest.

lmao oh for sure. I know I've seen that damn shoulder rest somewhere. But I guess if I do find all the stuffs, it'll be good to have a spare. The music stand I'm not sure even made the move. If it did, then I'll put it in the sewing side of our craft room. That way if I want to play outside or even in that room, I won't have to move the other stand.

I suppose it could be. But itd be a rather huge cooincidence that my temples are blistering and apparently once you get rashes from an allergen like this, it always appears in that location, no matter where the contact dermititus was. Plus I know the chin rest is chrome, which is heavy on nickle so even if it was a fluke, the chin rest needs to be replaced. And honestly, they told me since it's been so long, the strings probably are brittle as well. So either way it sounds like it will be best if I change them. The strings are likely steel. The new ones are going to be silver so the concentration of nickle should be lowered by some.

Thank you, I was trying to go for a kid who went trick or treating and cut through the woods to find monsters haha

He wouldn't hurt too bad right now at how small he is, but it's a pain to get them to stop biting you since they can unhinge their jaws three ways. But when he's bigger is when we have to watch out cause he could break a hand if he strikes if hes full grown so it's best to teach him not to now. And the terrarium may turn into a betta fish tank after talking to my co-workers lol

I'm glad it's been uneventful for you, and yeah I've been struggling to find the right therapist for a while but I think this one is good for me. I just needed something on top of my meds because I was doing bad for a while there lol But I'm doing better now, mentally at least, physically different story but I'll get the help I need for that one day too, just gotta be positive

I'm excited for you!! I played the guitar when I was really young but at about 8 I had an accident the severed the tip of my left index finger. It was fixed but never felt right playing a stringed instrument after that. :-P

I hope it gets warmer for you too. I did years of cold and pouring down rain trick or treating when Liz was young. I just heard we're getting snow tomorrow over the mountains in the middle part of our state.

its been nothing like when i was a kid but still i don't like the cold and they still aren't quite there to go on there own.

- If I were the only one eating it them a bag would last me a good 2 weeks but not with the human garbage disposal around. We had Popeye's Chicken for dinner.
