Oh, I definitely agree about being born in the wrong era; almost all my daydreams involve me living in another time. Today I spent a lot of time antiquing and then came home to watch my favorite game show from the 1950s while doing crafts. Do you have a favorite era you would have liked to experience?
The sunny weather and the beautiful blooms have really been making me feel better. I put out my patio umbrella and some solar lights, so it feels quite nice to sit outside during the day and enjoy the weather. My vegetable garden is looking pretty well with the cherry tomatoes and zucchini thriving. My beets, sadly, are not doing as well, but maybe I'll still get some. I always like roasting them in the Fall. How is your garden? Do the rabbits still visit you?

Well the one they mean here is the flip flops. I have learn some words can be different in all the Hispanic cultures. Just the Spanish here in the states compared to the Spanish used in Mexico is different.

My garden is loving all the rain! It's been raining for days now. I have so many colours and flowers all over my garden and many of my plants are having a good season this year. We have some sort of melon growing in the one garden and I can't wait to see what it is. I almost lost my green sorrel over the winter but I found some small baby plants in the garden and they are doing fine, luckily.
I still have a cotton tail bunny hopping around my lot. It's a teenager now, as it's getting bigger. I haven't seen the parents in a while and I know there's a patchy sibling living close by that visits once in a while. A red fox was spotted in the back yard about a week ago. Oh! I was able to watch robins hatch and grow. Unfortunately I missed that glorious moment when they flew out of the nest, which took hours of coaxing by the parents. They stop feeding them and start calling them to fly so they can find their own food. I just have an empty nest to take down now.
