i had been trying working with cotton ystf on s single stich from the back thread..turns out to look like knitting rows. it was fucckkeedd. i have a hard time to make loose enough stitches as it gor=es;;but these needed true ones and i started over numerous times on my learning curve of course. i lslso need more patience and uninterupted tiem. whick i thought i hasd plenty of time..Cotton i feel is harder to work wit to..doesnt slip through/over the fingers as easily. Key to uniformity in knitting and crocheting stitches is the way you hold (tension, not to tight or loose) the yarn in the hand that doesn't have the crochet hook. I wish my grandma was a live, she taught me that was the key, and she was very strict about it. She even made me hold my hook a certain way. So basically I crochet grandma style, lol
