Today's topic looks like toys! Oh my.....fun fun fun! I wish I had a picture of these, but I don't, so a description will have to do. lol
I had several favorite toys, but my all time favorite thing to play with was my own imagination. Boy howdy the stuff we kids could come up with!
Next would be my Cabbage Patch Doll, Matilda May. She was one of the first created, and she had curly red hair, blue eyes, freckles, and wore a green and white gingham dress. I was so in love with her, and so very surprised when I got her for my birthday. My sisters and cousins were so jealous of her, and wanted to play with her as well. Needless to say, they each got one for Christmas. lol
My other favorite toy was Lincoln Logs and my Easy Bake Oven. Matchbox cars, Tinker Toys, my Strawberry Shortcake Lemon Meringue Doll, my microscope, and chemistry set also kept me busy. Being a kid was tough, but it was also fun. :)

Totally Barbie. I played for years with these dolls and all my friends had them, too, so we could trade clothes. The mother of my best friend even had a sewing machine and sewed individual dresses for us so somehow pre-Subeta with CWs, LOL.
This photo won me the first prize in the "humorous" category at the fair several years back.
I remember having a furby growing up. I found it so cool that it could "communicate" with my friend's furby. I never could underatand ehat it said its name was though, haha.
My most treasured barbie as a kid.
Still have her though she's been packed away a long time.

I had a furby too! I remember my brother kept taking it from my room because he wanted to play with it - it was definitely his favorite toy.
