It’s been a minute since I saw the Oracle.

I managed to miss both pi day and Star Wars day this year. I’m going to have to get better and keeping up with the dates.

LOL, well, Pi day can't be missed when you're a math teacher. We had a blast. Though with all the special days this year it was getting a little tiresome. (100th day, Leap day, Pi day)

. I am jealous pi day wasn’t a thing when I was in school. My mom usually texts me she celebrated every year before she retired.

I am absolutely counting the days! The crazy maddening school countdown starts this week, 10 full school days starting Wednesday.

Good luck surviving until the end of school! I won't tell you that I've been done for 2 week. Shhh!

Argh!! Each day is feeling like a full week! Everyone is feeling it. I can't believe it's only Tuesday!

Friday is my wife's and daughter's last day of school. I start summer school on Tuesday. At least we have Memorial Day off together :)

good! Just been really busy. I've been enjoying summer, but we're in the middle of a heatwave right now (like a lot of people I think).

Yup, heatwave here too! Right now it's just sticky (blech). We're leaving for Ohio in the morning to visit my mother-in-law. Will be gone for 8 days :) Looking forward to getting away!

I have family in Ohio and West Virginia too. My dad is from southeast Ohio, right across from Wheeling, West Virginia.

We lived in WV for a year or two when I was a toddler, and moved to Philly when I was about 5.

That's so cool! We went to Sycamore OH, which is near Bucyrus. It wasn't an exciting visit, but it was good to see my MIL. I couldn't wrap my brain around how late the sun sets there lol. I was yawning up a storm and was like it's only 6 or 7, right? What? It's 9?? LOL On the way back we had an adventure with state parks, camping, and rain... let's just say I'm happy to be home and dry lol.
