not really. I did change my doc appointment from tomorrow today and she's given me some meds to help regulate my body so hopefully I'll have relief coming. I'm miserable :/ How are you?

oh sounds lovely. Not really sure yet. Guess we'll see. No not yet, hopefully soon <3

hopefully those meds will help squishes gently

I'm looking forward to today being over (got the chair arms being delivered today, so Mum's her usual stressy self and she's already moaning about "having to decorate the tree" this afternoon o.O). But at least that'd mean the chair would be completely finished ;)

I hope so. ❤ I do feel for you dealing with all these health issues.

I do try to save electricity as much as I can, but there is only so much I can do. I don't want to be too cold either. I don't mind the colder temps, but I am going to be thankful when the winter is over this time, so that my bills will be cheaper.

That is cold! Do you guys have a furnace in your house? Or do you use electricity for heat? :)

yeah, there's a balance between saving money on the electricity and being comfortably warm! We've got gas heating ("warm air heating" which it blows the air out from vents in each room, rather than radiators or a wood burner), which works out a bit cheaper than electric heating, although it does tend to be a bit dusty-smelling when it's used for the first time in the season! ;)

me too. It can take up to a week to work so here's hoping it's sooner rather than later. Also the one thing I don't like is I have to wait 30 mins before having breakfast after taking the meds...this'll be fun remembering :P

ugh I feel for you.

thanks. And guess what came in the mail today? Your card ooh so pretty. Thank you so much, I love it!

That sounds like a good way to save money on heating and still keep the house at a comfortable temperature. :) For flats there are usually not that many options sadly. At least "only" 2-3 months before it starts getting a bit warmer again. :P

You are very welcome, I am glad you liked it. :) I decided to make some diamond painting cards to send this year. xD

sits and admires your HA Yeesh that's a long time to wait if it takes that long to see the effects! But hopefully it won't be too complicated to change your routine so you can be occupied for those 30 mins each morning without just sitting and staring at the clock ;)

And the tree never got decorated - Dad took so long getting the lights on it (and they're still not tucked in like I'd asked him to do), that Mum didn't have time to do the other decorations o.O so that's tomorrow's job I think ;)

my only disadvantage is that Mum likes the heating up higher than I do (I'd rather have it down a little so I can sit under a fleece blanket to watch tv of an evening) - our heating only has one temperature control for the whole house, rather than one for each individual room ;)

ooo I'll keep an eye out :D Thank you!! :D

That is a disadvantage. Does your dad like your house warmer or colder than you two to add to the problem? ;)

According to amazon it should have been delivered today. Surprisingly quick!

Dad tends to agree with Mum and likes it quite warm.... that's the only point where I wish we could control each room individually, as at least I could keep my room cooler then!

I was just about to say it arrived! Thank you!! :D Mum's already squirreled it away under the tree laughs it looks well wrapped too :D I'm going to be good and not sneak a peek until Christmas day ;)

oooh exciting :D I'll let you know when it arrives :D

thank you :) couldn't resist making Sorn into an angel lol. loving your ha today too. Is that lantern new? yeah...right? eh lol mostly I just tried to wake up. I'm really hoping this stuff works. aww bummer. Hopefully you can get it decorated tomorrow--thats our goal here. I put it up today. It's been a bit late due to illness and etc. But it's almost ready :D

and today's sparkly HA-less look is brilliant too! :D I've had the lantern for ages, but I don't use it all that often - Niamh wanted a purpley look to go with the background, but I needed to cover the stripes on the hoodie sleeves :P

Hopefully you're feeling a bit more like yourself this morning? ;)

Mum got the decorations on the tree yesterday afternoon, but things like tinsel and anything that normally goes over picture frames & mirrors, are still in the cupboard somewhere o.O

Appreciate that. :D You never know if something is going to get lost in the mail.

It is good to have the room not too warm when you are sleeping. Then again, freezing in bed doesn't make it easier to sleep either.

I am glad it arrived safely, hopefully you will enjoy your gift. :D

yeah waking up hot doesn't help much! I try to make sure the bedroom is just cool enough so I'm not cold, but not going to heat up too much overnight ;)

:d I love the way they've wrapped it ;) (will put up a pic once I've charged my phone)

why thank you <3

Ah I see, see :D well it went well :D

I am thank you. It was a busy day though. It included taking Melody to the vet's for her yearly shots. She was anxious and hyper and difficult to deal with.

Oh lol in the void huh? Good luck finding it :D

exactly! Melody went to the vet today for her yearly. Always an experience :P. Not much else to report about here.

I thought I had some arm warmer items that were long enough to cover the stripes, but I couldn't find the ones I was hunting for :P

Aww on having to take Melody to the vets, but at least it was for shots and not for anything more expensive! How's the training and all that going?

it's the kind of cupboard where things can get lost easily, then random things fall out when you open the door o.O

I can imagine. Poor Melody. Was she healthy at least? Pusur is terrified of the vet poor thing. Dogs usually doesn't like it too much either. :P

Getting the temp in your bedroom just right can be surprisingly difficult. For me it always seems slightly too warm or cold. :P

It would be nice to see how they wrapped it, since I have not chosen that option before. ;)

my bedroom backs onto the cupboard with the hot water tank / boiler, so it tends to get warmer even without the heating vent turned on (lovely in winter, but not so good in summer!!)

It's in a kind of fabric bag, with an envelope (in multiple languages) containing the gift receipt thing ;)

I bet fabric bags makes it easier for the employees. That loos pretty nice! Thanks for the price!

My water tank is in the little room I use for storage, which is next to my bedroom, but does not affect the temp in my bedroom it seems like. ;)
