I thought Niamh should make the most of the warmer weather ;) ....but I expect it to rain over the weekend, as there's the annual classic car show near here Saturday & Sunday, and whenever Dad and I have been before it usually rains!

nods not the cheapest of repairs as he had to come to the house twice, but it's a lot easier than finding a new washing machine that would fit the stupidly small space in the kitchen!

it rained overnight and early this morning, so we took umbrellas & a cover for my camera (it's not waterproof!).... and forgot the suntan lotion - I'm now red like a lobster, because it was hot & sunny all the time we were there! 😊

Why thank you. This is the cigarette smoking bad guy, Andy Private Outfit Whom I revamped with some help from a friend. He doesn’t smoke the cigarettes because he’s actually a weredragon so its to cover the fact he breathes out smoke sometimes.

I wanted to learn more about him so I worked out his background as well.

that sounds more like the weather you'd expect for here rather than over with you! We had heavy rain overnight, which woke me up as the guttering downpipe is blocked, so the rain comes over the top and hits the metal watering can (you wouldn't expect rain landing on that to be quite so noisy!!)

I guess at least you aren't at risk of a drought / hosepipe ban with that much rain ;)

It's meant to be relatively easy to take a piece of the downpipe from the guttering off to clean it, but Mum's doing her usual and catastrophising "what if we can't get it back together again", so we might end up resorting to calling out someone to clear it out.... I think we'll need to get it done before there's lots more heavy rain due though 😊

if it's only blocked in the lower part of the downpipe and not in the guttering on the edge of the roof, then it shouldn't be too hard to resolve, as I'd only need a stool to stand on - no way am I doing anything that needs a ladder (especially not up to roof height!!)! 😊

I had to do ladders in work before - I worked on the lighting department, and we had to fit the lights onto the display track on the (low) ceiling - that was ok if I could attach it one-handed, but attaching a heavy chandelier was a nightmare (that took two of us on ladders, both needing to use both hands). But that was my absolute limit for height - anything above that (like our guttering) is a definite no! :P

I have no idea how much stuff I got in my wardrobe.. but it is well over 15K... not sure how to find out now that I am maxed out on the achievement a long while ago. :P

I just settle for "lots" :P I've got 266 pages on the organize section of the wardrobe (I didn't realise I had that much!!)
