One of my favorite drinks, besides really basic iced tea or coffee, is a more grown up thing, a summer cocktail. It is basically a variant on an Italian Campari Aperitivo. Which is Campari and soda water over ice. A similar bitter sweet citrus liqueur is Aperol.

For mine I use 1oz. each of Campari and Grapefruit Vodka, over ice, with a float of usually some kind of low sugar citrus/sharp fruit soda. My fave is a Passionfruit Guava, or a Blueberry Yuzu. You can use something sweeter if you want sweeter, but I love the way the tart, sweet and bitter work together. It's light and refreshing, especially when it's very hot...and I am a lightweight so I have one. XD It looks about like this...

Seasonal? Well, it's summer here but that's never stopped me from having a strawberry lemonade in winter before. 😂 Tagging requirement: - I know you're on vaycay right now, but you'll be back in time for this.

My favorite summer drink used to be a margarita, but when I drink alcohol now my tonsils feel like I have strep throat. So, now I stick to ice water with lemon. I know, boring, but I also have diabetes so I try to avoid sugary drinks.

It's summer here, during the hot weather I enjoy iced coffee when I can get it, but smoothies are also delicious. The blueberry pomegranate smoothie at McDonalds is yummy :)

My favorite summer drink is a mojito with mint fresh from the garden!!! I also LOVE making green tea with ice and a ton of mint. It's so refreshing and you add a squeeze of lemon to make it even summer-ier!

It's hot and muggy where I am so my favorite summer drink used to be lemonade or sweet iced tea, now it's just wonderfully cool water! I do miss my sweet tea though.
