- Yay for a fixed laptop! I used to wear glasses. They always rubbed right behind my ears when they were new. They also slipped down my nose all the time. How do you like yours?Our weather has gone nuts. It's 60f during the day and 30s during the night. It's acting like spring out there and the trees and flowers are responding. I've had to start with the antihistamine 2 months early. Why can't it just snow?I mean, it is winter, after all. :D

Don't mind me if I just slip in here to grouse. After getting hacked my computer was turned into a solid state PC upgraded to Windows 11 all to be secure. Well, got hacked again had to get a new bank card am lucky that they didn't get any money but they tried something with Target because I never ordered and did try only for them to tell me my email account was invalid. Plus now I have a Mac Mini to be able to be online - very unhappy about it too. Miss my tower and want to draw and quarter all Chinese Hackers.

There are some shops I hardly ever visit because of the distance or the prices. I like to go to a local crystal shop once a month if I have enough money.

So I don't end up going every month. I tend to spend $50 USD minimum per visit with a $100USD limit unless I got more money than usual (so usually only around birthdays and Christmas).

Knock at the Cabin is an adaptation of The Cabin at the End of the World. Haven't read the book but the movie was good.

There are originally movies coming out but you sometimes need to be paying attention to them. Dual came out last year. If you like Karen Gillian and Aaron Paul, you need to see it!

I'm looking forward to Evil Dead Rise as the same people that did the Evil Dead Remake were behind it. Though it seems the 'remake' takes place in the original series. The teaser at the end of the credits had Ash appear and I think there were plans for Ash and the new hero to team up.

yay, finally!

so far my glasses are ok. They tuned them for me when they where ready to fit. I do have to come back next week, check in and i also have free sun glasses i need to pick out. They came with my glasses was an offer, but as these are my first glasses... we agreed to get used to them and then get a pair of sun glasses.

We had a few cold days and nights and starting today we are getting better and warmer weather... sheesh. Trees and flowers are not sure what to do to, get into bloom or sleep. I heard friends had to start antihistamines to due of this.

Thank you both. Seems it was Microsoft and nothing I did or missed. My puter had been made Solid State and upgraded to Windows 11. Did have good VPN, Antivirus, and Malwarebytes! Now I have had to get a damn Mac, the only good thing about this is better security, along with a new VPN and new Antivirus while using a different browser. This needs to work.

OMG! Will it never end? I hate Mac but I hope it works for you! Damn all bloody hackers! Draw and quarter indeed!

Yeah, they used to adjust my glasses all the time but they never seemed to fit properly. I loved having sunglasses but found it a pain to have to carry both because you never knew when you'd be outside and need them. Yep, I'm taking the Benadryl early this year because everything has started flowering early thanks to the 60f days. Oh, Happy Subetaversary! What did you choose from your loyalty box? - I think the hacker is sweet on you since he keeps coming back. Macs are good computers. I had a macbook pro for the duration of my university time and it was very reliable and easy to figure out at first. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to wait for video games to be ported to mac as they weren't usually available for mac when first released. :D

I'd be crying in my wine if I could have more than 1 a day. Do feel safer as I don't use Windows anymore nor do I search with Google. Have read that Microsoft had been hacked and now I am a believer. So much to learn now - usually I'm fine with that it's just the principle of it that makes me do a slow burn. Seriously, I had nightmares about the FBI checking my accounts. If trying to steal my financial info makes that creature sweet on me I'd hate to think of what he'd do if he hated me as much as I do him. One reason it is not easy to figure out is all the info Macs list at the top of the screen right now is jus a total blur since my 2 year old Dell monitor regardless of the resolution setting. At least I got my speakers working by myself. All this crap is costing way too much in too short a period of time.

A co-worker of mine also have glasses but she can't see good and they keep sliding of her nose, i told her to go back with them and if they still are back go to another store. We have so many options of glasses shops.

I went to Pearl (over here) and so far so good. And you keep using the meds as you need to, sneezing all the time is no fun.

I got the GA from the loyalty box, 2 months of GA. Always good.
