The chef at the restaurant gives out food recipes and at the cafe you can buy some fun cute food items. And the teacher at the school has only given me plumeria starts.

My day was busy and a bit stressful. We're having company tomorrow and today we did a phone call with a lawyer about making our wills. So not fun thinking about my demise! lol

I used to go all out decorating. Now we don't even bother with a tree. Lol

I used to be so into it but Liz n hubs could care less so I stopped bothering. Oh and the cats we used to have would go crazy on the tree. :-D Now we have a small tree we sometimes set on the dining room table that's only about 2 ft tall. Lol

Aww that makes me sad :( Oh gosh, one year we got this HUGE real tree and my cats kept climbing in the damn thing and knocking it over :K We have a fake tree now. Not as fun but still pretty at least.

The book I got that I keep falling asleep reading is The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois It sounded so good I just had to buy it, but I can't stay awake long enough to read any of it. I love history so it really appealed to me and the little I've read seems like it's going to be good.. :-) Summary from online: Du Bois is the 2021 debut novel by American poet Honorée Fanonne Jeffers. It explores the history of an African-American family in the American South, from the time before the American civil war and slavery, through the Civil Rights Movement, to the present.

Yeah I live with 2 people that could care less about a lot of stuff. I love them both dearly but it can get boring. We had an 8 foot fake tree but I finally got tired of doing all of the decorating by myself and then the cats tearing stuff up so I gave up. LOL
