Our local school district was supposed to start last week but the teachers went on strike. And while I agree with not accepting what they're getting paid, penalizing the kids (especially after 2 years of no school) does not feel 100% right. And Seattle school district is supposed to start soon too, but it's sounding like they're going on strike as well. Ugh

Lol Specifically she wants to go to the mall but I'm trying to stall her until the kids are mostly back in school. I guess tomorrow we're hitting up a few Dollar Trees and maybe a Big Lots. Oh I just realized it's cause she spent most of her allowance already so maybe that's why we're going to cheaper stores. :-D
