hair item on my HA was my very first CW. :-)
I can't see my feet good enough anymore to put polish on my toenails. :-D They're too far away for cheaters and too close for the other glass in my glasses.
I love the HHP dlc catalog. While it is fun decorating the homes, after 30-45 minutes I'm ready to finish. And I don't think it matters how good you do as long as you use the 3 items the villager wanted in their home. Then you get paid in Poki and can buy tons of different items. (once you unlock the catalog) I keep almost buying those NFC cards. I probably will eventually. :-P
I'm glad you're feeling better!
That's good work is going alright. A shame that it's so stressful though.
My first thought was Zoom for the video calls but I've used Skype before too. Not enough to say which is better. Have you suggested to your son he could be a chef? That's awesome he's such a good cook!
Sounds like me 😂 My mama pouch is all in the way LOL!
Oh my goodness, whateverrrr! You're not old :K
We're halfway through the week! AYYY!.... I need it to be over soon haha. I have 5 work meetings tomorrow and I'm just not feeling all that responsibility right now lmaooo
Oh no gross!! Sounds to me like you need to play hookie 😂
My other roommate/best friend (who's name is also Josh lmao) who works with me is actually calling off tomorrow and I'm jealous. xD But he's going to visit his brother in the hospital, so my jealousy only goes so far. He's okay, they think he may have pneumonia. Any plans for tomorrow?
Well apparently, we just didn't have enough "excitement" in April with Mum's fall and shoulder replacement and my foot surgeries that we need more -sighs-. This morning dad wakes me telling me he can't rouse mum. So I got up and went to see if he was, you know, overreacting. He wasn't. Mum was totally unresponsive. after 40 minutes of being unable to wake her we called 911. The fire brigade arrived first and we tested her sugar levels. It was 48. Those who are familiar with diabetic levels know this is a very dangerous level. You really don't want it below 60 and that's even pushing it. Normal level to shoot for is 100. Below is dangerous and risk of coma. When the ambulance arrived, about 10 minutes after they tested it again on their metre and it was 28!!! I was really terrified at this point.
They started sugar water, but the iv popped out so, they put her on a bed with using a sheet for transfer and taking great care to not hurt her surgical shoulder. and got her into the ambulance where they got the iv to stay in. After a little while the female emt came to the door and told us she woke up. THANK GOD! her speech was slurred though so they worried about a stroke. Dad and I took my dog to the vet and boarded her for the day since we didn't know how long the hospital would take and I realistically can't care for her. Then by that time it's time for lunch, which means I missed breakfast (not good for a diabetic). After lunch Dad went to the hospital. She was already assigned a room but not there. i surmised they had taken her for a cat-scan to rule out a stroke. And mum and the nurse confirmed this when she came back. All blood work and scans came back with good results so what they think happened is that her pain med knocked her out just enough to make her body not realise she needed to wake and get sugar in her system and then by the time it was too low she couldn't wake. I'm so glad we called when we did as if we'd waited any longer it could have been worse. What we didn't know was mum started taking glipazide again. It's a time released diabetic medication. But it drops her sugars too low and she had stopped taking it for that reason. But she never told dad and I she resumed taking it. If she'd told me, I would have insisted on her checking her sugar, called 911 earlier and tried to talk her out of that medication.
Thankfully she's seeing my doctor later this month and he can find some meds that work better for her. Anyway, they've admitted her to hosptail to at least check on her overnight and make sure it doesn't go too low again.
I had to call a lady from my parents church that I didn't really know that well and ask for a ride to my foot doctor's appointment. If I missed it, I'd have to wait till Friday and I've been in a lot of pain and had trouble walking so I really didn't want to do that. Anyway, he's augmented my cast and treated the left foot again as well. Both feet aren't very happy but he's put me on an Nsaid with something to protect my stomach. I took it took it with dinner and the pain has calmed significantly. He said the reason for the high pain was because I can't take most anti-inflammatory because of being allergic to milk. Thankfully voltaren doesn't use milk and it also will help with the pain. So hopefully this will at least stop the extra painful days. Anyway it's been a nightmare of a day and I'm still trying to de-stress honestly.
I think the doc himself would have let me go on Monday but the lady wasn't budging at all.
oh no! I hope you get better quickly <3
lol don't worry I can't remeber out convo either <3
-giggles- at least changing the island keeps things fresh right? 😉 It's so unfun with all this pain so I hope this other med will help :)
Well he did tell me he won't do two casts on me as I'd be face down on the ground LOL. I told him I'm a tough chick and I'd crawl like a zombie around the house lol. But at least I know I'm not getting the left leg in a cast just yet LMAO. he did tell me the left foot is looking good. But he did totally seem a little surprised at the pain in my right foot. So hopefully the new nsaid will cut the inflammation and pain down.
that sounds so awful. I'm glad you were able to find someone to drive you to the doctor appointment and even more so that they found an anti-inflammatory that is safe for you to take! And that your mom woke up and is going onto safer medication, too. 💙
it really was. Thanks <3 I'm glad too. I just can't get over how scary it was with mum.
Oh my goodness D: I’m so so glad your mom is ok! That sounds so scary! I really hope things start to calm down for you and your family <3 You guys are having such a rough time right now :( I’m glad you were able to get some new pain medication! I hope this will help you loads more than the others <3
Oh my goodness XD That must be so confusing living with two Josh’s! I hope his brother feels better soon <3
It is definitely hilarious at certain times when I go to call for Josh and I immediately have to stop myself and just go get the one I want xD My friend Josh is moving out in the near future, so for now I'm just enjoying living with my best friend and my partner... and secretly daydreaming about turning his bedroom into my home office lmaooo
So it is kinda random, I think there is a ping group but she does show up on the map at least once a week I think? I can ping you when I see her, I also think there is a ping group for her but Im not sure what it is.

man...you need to catch a bREAK gosh that must have been so scary. There were two times when I had to be rushed to the er from diabetic lows and they are not fun but I was responsive. -big hugs- I hope she stops taking that medication that sounds like a nightmare!
Yeah it's going to be a busy afternoon for sure since all of the meetings are during the second half of my shift. Any plans for the day? I love your shiny HA!
LOL, you get used to it xD
Yes, I know all about the DLC dear.. I just haven't been able to get it as I am going for the switch online +, so I can also play N64 games and stuff. I am excited to decorate houses though. xD

Loving your new HA! Such a lovely dress
Same here, just working and probably some laundry later. Currently trying to find some more podcasts. Do you listen to any?
no but a lot of my friends do never really got into it idk why
It's okay, I didn't much before working an office job. I've learned I prefer it rather than listening to music while I work most of the time.
