- i was stressing until i talked to the doctor. my cardiologist has a bad (good?) habit of admitting first and asking questions later. i was so relieved to be hobbling out of that doctor's office, you have no idea. lol she's very good, though, so my fears were put to rest for the most part. 😀 the youngin' has been playing blue oyster cult's don't fear the reaper. one of my favorite songs. the irony is not lost on me, either. rofl 😂 how's your "you-time" going? :D ❤ - very apt reference. lmao 😂 makes me glad i'm not a vet but sad that hubby is and has to deal with it. maybe one day the v.a. will learn their lesson and start filling the vets full of happiness instead of sucking it all out. :)

I've only seen Celeste once in the last 2-3 months and then no shooting stars. I keep getting recipes that I can't make because they call for items I've never even seen. I just got a bonsai shelf recipe and I was so excited but I need a cherry-blossom bonsai and a bonsai tree to make it. If I had those items I wouldn't care about the bonsai shelf. lol

[edit] That's good news - I guess they don't always realize how and when they say stuff can set someone like you or me off to worrying way too much. That is ironic. Or maybe it's not and just you overthinking stuff. <3 My me time has been amazing! It's like I went the last year at high speed playing catch up on life. I still did a lot of little things around the house but no deep cleaning yet. Today Liz was watching Hoarders and I was thinking, I don't need to do any deep cleaning cause I'm so far from that. :-D

- thing is, she tries NOT to set me off. she knows how anxious i get and that it effects the test results. hubby says i would worry about not having anything to worry about. lol the song was a coincidence but every time i hear it i "see" christopher walken saying the song needed more cowbell... omg, i've seen that show. it makes the local pig sty look like a bastion of cleanliness. i just could not believe the mountains of garbage some of those people had in their homes. and to call a tv show and request to be featured in an episode so everyone and the goeds can see the slovenly way you live? what would possess a person? i'm blind and i still have my guys clean up. we don't deep clean but the place isn't a dumpster fire either. ;) 😀

And I know I would worry if I didn't have something to worry about too. 😳 The one house I saw on there looked like they didn't even try to hit the garbage can and was so gross! Why would they agree to being on a TV show is beyond me. Your house sounds about like mine. And I used to be such a neat freak too. Mostly I can clean good when no one else is around and since Liz is not in school anymore I'm never home alone anymore. Or at least that's my excuse. LOL

- the biggest thing that people don't understand when talking to me is that i can't see their body language anymore. i read somewhere that body language makes up like 80% of how we communicate. hubby and the youngin' still trip over body language and they're with me 24/7. so i give the doc a little leeway as she's not used to dealing with the blind. in fact, i think i'm her only completely blind patient. she really does go to extraordinary lengths to make sure i understand and that i'm not overly anxious. some docs don't even bother so i'm very glad i have her as a doc. :D omg, before i was blind and crippled you could have eaten off my floors, there was no dust anywhere, and all the laundry was done and put away. i was so ocd about it all. it didn't help that the youngin' loves to clean. he would happily join in when ever i was cleaning and never complained about any of it. my other kids? nope, they would run for the hills if they got even the tiniest hint that i was going to clean. rofl 😂

- hi sweetie! did you have a good weekend? mine was quiet, like usual. we are preparing for my youngests18th birthday at the end of the month. i can't believe he's that old. i keep asking him to reverse age but he refuses stating he doesn't know how. pppffffttt ... i told him that if he knows how to go forward in time then he knows how to go back. i requested that he reverse age to 5 years. he laughed and said no, that i wouldn't be able to keep up with him. cheeky monkey. rofl 😂

I didn't have Celeste yesterday but I saw a few shooting stars and I'm sure I got a few but then I spent 10 minutes waiting for more and didn't see any more. My guess is because I have so many stars in my storage that I haven't used yet to make anything. Yes I've had Kapp'n for several months. I usually alternate between him and Nook island trips every other day. I also started playing Happy Homes Paradise so I don't always have the time to do everything. HHP dlc is not a ton of fun but there's some cool items you can only get by playing.

I think I have the same amount of storage. And finally I don't feel pressured by lack of storage. I want to open all of the shops on Harv's too! That's kind of what I'm working on now too. And still moving stuff all around my island. :-D

I'm so glad you have a great doctor! I wish we could find one too. I used to say you could eat off of my floors too. Now anymore though! :-D Your youngest always sounds like such a great human! :-) And I'm sure the others are too but the things you tell me about him makes me know he's amazing!

I had a good weekend! We ran some errands, visited with some family, and I planted some flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. And we got some wildflower seeds and put those down in a patch in our backyard. I hope they germinate and start growing in a couple of weeks crosses fingers LOL! I wish my toddler would go back in time too XD I miss when he was a baby! I'm a weirdo and I love the baby stage the most 😂 It's crazy how time flies, huh? 😭

Do you ever buy the turnips to see if you will get good prices during the week? I will probably open the last of my storage once I'm done with Harv's island. Just to get it out of the way because I know I will fill it up fast XD

Apologies for the absence. Monday was a tough day for me. Saturday night I saw my infected toe turn purple. I totally panicked and cute the bandage off. When i saw how misshapen the toe was, I called the doctor, despite the fact it was very late at night. He informed me he is trying to reshape the toes to avoid the toe shortening surgery he had mentioned. He didn't tell me this so now I felt like a right prat. But he told me I would need to come back in on Monday to have it redone. I went, but had to wait for a long while before I was seen. He's put a sticky spray on my foot and then tape and pushed my toes into a different position. I am in so much pain it is indescribable. On top of the pain from them being realigned I am having intense pain from the sticky substance which is burning as bad as wrap I had cut off. i am resisting with all my might to not remove this damned tape because I know next time I will get a cast--he has already warned me--not as punishment but to allow my body to work on the "repairs" it is trying to do. Walking is nothing sure of agony like trying to walk in shoes that are four sizes too small--and that's just the "good" foot. The one in the cast isn't feeling to comfy with the cast on either. I seriously hope I can sleep at some point because I'm so miserable right now. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Anyway that's my update, such as it is.

Nah, there isn't a limit to the amount you have. Some falling star nights are light and some are heavy with stars. I like the ones with meteor showers.. they just keep coming. I just need to play more after 7 on the game but ugh, LOL I hate nook mystery islands, LOL.. I just do Kapp' N all the time. Yes I want the DLC.. I can't wait to decorate homes and buildings but that it a hopeful for winter when I will have more time.
