I know what you mean. It seems like each person as they get older, can eat fewer and fewer things without unpleasant side effects. I'm having to cut out foods recently too, including hazelnuts and oats, that I'd been fine eating for a while... I'm getting knee arthritis now and I have no idea if some foods make it worse, I'll have to keep watch for that to see if I can tell.

Hazelnuts and oats! That's sad! :-( My morning oatmeal is my most solid meal of the day. And I eat a huge salad for dinner with either turkey or chicken on it. (Nibble on veggies throughout the day.) I think the 3 most inflammation causing foods (for many, not just me) are: white flour, cheese and soy - so be on the lookout for those culprits. After my salad though I do eat some junk!! :-)

Haha that was mostly a joke they were actually all really good, tho sugar dug a few holes to china my dad didn't care about the holes in the yard so it was all good, till hunter started digging his hands in the dirt with her helping her dig LOL it was all fun and games tho

OHHH! I couldn't imagine completely restarting over. I worked too hard, especially on all the critters and art I hunted for 😂 I know I shouldn't take it so seriously but I still can't figure out a pathway 😭 I'm torn between what kind of style island I want... Do you have a style to yours?

My theme started out as Asian - go figure. LOL Anyway, it's all a sh*t show now. And I've had a hard time with any of the basic path designs but just realized I can use a design code the same way as doing paths. So won't have to "use on ground" for every spot of it. It's fairly obvious so I'm thinking you already know that. Also I'm torn between messy a forresty feel or everything is paved and perfect feel. Did that make any sense?

I have started making myself a millet porridge in place of oatmeal for breakfasts, it satisfies most of the same things (slower absorption than other grains, high fiber and protein content, flavor and texture profile, satiety) Took a few tries to figure out how to cook it properly and I've been making a full cup (4 big servings) at a time since I have to cook it for over 30 minutes where oatmeal was a lot faster.

You know I already don't eat white flour (it's made of wheat) so I'm safe on that front. Currently I've never had any issue with milk products or any bean/lentil thing, but I'll keep an eye on them. Hazelnuts are similar to pecans that I was already allergic to, and oats are fairly closely related to wheat so it's not too unusual that I'd get sensitized to either of those foods. Just sad for me because I like them 💙

OOOO! An Asian theme sounds so pretty! I didn't even think about that as a theme :O Yeah I don't care for the basic paths they have already on the island. I've been looking through custom paths and just struggling to get one that works for me. I've been debating a forest/cottage-y type island but I also want to have like an amusement park area and stuff so I may have to do different themes in different areas of my island. Then I debated a very colorful and cutes-y theme, but that might be too much XD

You mentioned beans and lentils - I would die if I couldn't eat those. Soy has been rough to do without but feeling good far outweighs the foods it uses. And these days soy lecithin is almost everything already made. That's partly why I have to spend so much time food prepping. Ugh! I also think I may be sensitive to corn but not bad enough to give it up yet. :-P Oooh I may need to try millet porridge and I think I already have millet. That sucks worrying about the nuts as they're in so many foods. I've spent my whole life watching out for peanuts as they give me gigantic cold sores. 2 supplements that I feel helps my arthritis are probiotics and curcumin.

I love the idea of cutesy and colorful. I mentioned my 2nd account on my island and in that house and yard is where I use pink and cutesy items. I wanted to make a temple but so far I haven't seen or figured out how to do it yet.

I make millet porridge in the microwave but it might be easier on stovetop? Hard to be sure. I use 1 cup millet and 2 1/4 (2.25) cups of milk and heat the milk until it starts to foam, then add millet and a pinch of salt. Then cook on low in the microwave (30% on 1100 watt microwave) for 30 minutes - that way the milk doesn't overflow the bowl and, if not all milk is absorbed, five more minutes, repeat until all milk is absorbed. I put it in the refrigerator and when I want some, put it in a bowl the same stuff I would have put on oatmeal - some maple syrup or spoonful of fruit jam or a half banana or whatever.

Usually I rinse the millet the way I do quinoa, but I don't think it's necessary. It may make it slightly less bitter.

Wow she really is doing good! It took me so long to get that far. My house is paid off and first storage expansion done. Yes, you are always working too hard. I rarely get to clean as I feel like I'm always on the run or doing food prep. Have a bit of free time today and Philly decided to work on the payroll crap for us again and then had to show me something...ugh I'm so over it all. We're finally set up to be paid but my pay going who knows where. 😳

Don't worry about the paths and maybe we can help or inspire each other. The hearts are mostly a mess. One of them is not too bad the other one was me just throwing a bunch of spare flowers together and I was like "oh it kind of looks like another heart". LOL

yeah it's an air cast/boot so it can come off. But I've notice blood on my sock and called my doctor. I have the cast back on and my doctor notified to see what to do. lol fun times for sure. glad it stopped hurting.
