People do suggest reading the Bill Hodges series before The Outsider if you don't want spoilers for the Bill Hodges series, though it's true in reverse that the Bill Hodges series has (minor) spoilers for The Outsider, too. But I'm reading them in publication order with Mr. Mercedes first, even though I watched The Outsider tv series so I know what happens (some of it anyway as it always changes between tv and book)

- you'er not the only one doing that. i've heard some complaining that people are keeping ahold of their flowers instead of using them. i say that they're your flowers, do with them as you please. :D

- my hubby's main food group is mountain dew. he loves the stuff and has tried every flavor available. he wil go without food but heaven forbid he run out of mt dew. and i'm drinking caffeine free drinks. sometimes i wish he would get a little taste of my circumstances so he'd stop being such an old fart. 😂

I don't know yet on these (Mr Mercedes etc) but I expect them to be good. I never read the one you disliked, but I've read a few good ones by him that came out since.

I think the ones I liked most were Lisey's Story and Duma Key of the 21st century ones. The one about the time travel stuff 11/22/63 got the best reviews... the tv show version of 11/22/63 wasn't as good as the tv show version of Outsider, though.

her shoulder is shattered and she will have shoulder replacement surgery today though we dont know what time. I am doing alright. Still some pain and it looks like i picked up some fungus or something on my other foot. I had to walk on the carpet so they couldn’t have disinfected that. I have to go to the doc in a bit so he can see this foot and get it treated. Im not sure if hes doing post op today or not. Original post op is Wednesday. So much going on

- i heard 11/22/63 was good but didn't pick it up because i was tired of "grassy knoll" conspiracies at the time. i may give it a try after i'm done with the bill hodges series and the outsiders. mr. mercedes had an excellent review on audibles. hubby said it was 4.5 stars from 33k reviews. so i have hopes. :D

- how did your doc appt go? everything cleared up? how is your mom doing? i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the surgery goes well. i also hope you guys get some home health help when your momm comes home. hugs ❤ and puppy scratches for melody :D

Howdy hi! I hope Your weekend was well! Mine was pretty busy, but fortunately in a good way. Saturday was my partner Josh's birthday, so we went to see one of his favorite bands Friday night. Saturday we went to our favorite movie theatre/bar/pizza place. Sunday was a big family gathering for his family that I was invited to. While I loved it, I very much wish for more down time and sleep haha xD
