I never do contests :D in this case snowboarding is a sport! it's like a cross between skiing and skateboarding, they strap their feet onto a board and slide down a snowy mountainside, possibly with jumps and rail slides!

The reason I have to finish it tomorrow is the same reason most of my writing has deadlines - it's for an event with a scheduled publish date and time. :D which in this case is tomorrow afternoon!

- have you ever considered nnot cleaning before she visits? i had a home health social worker show up a day early and nothing was clean. there were dishes in the sink, etc. she laughed when i told her how anxious her unscheduled visit made me and she explained that there was nothing to worry about. she'd been to houses that could only be condemed they were so filthy and she still had no grounds to report. she said that she had been wondering if we'd hired a maid because everything was just right whenever she visited. :laughing falls over

- see, ialways thought that meant they'd passed gas. they were always fanning their faces and looking woozy. i never attributed it to their corsets. of course i was 8 and had a younger brother who loved fart jokes. :joy

lol that's cute. Yeah no, it was the coresets and not being able to get breath or get winded because of lack of air. I'm a bit of a nerd so I found it rather interesting when we toured antebellum homes before.

- oh, i believe you. i know those corsets were hell. i just find it funny when they say they have the vapors and fan themselves. it makes me giggle. :laughingi grew up in a town /area that has a lot of civil war history. growing up i hated it. naively i thought everyone knew all about it, too. then in college i found out that growing up where i did gave me an advantage in some history classes. ;) so, where did your antebellum trip take you? did you like it? :D

glad it gave you an advantage :D In Georgia. We did a tour with my family and school groups. I hated those, because they were hot, had a lot of stairs and I found it rather boring. I love museums but I was spoilt with amazing museums and history in Europe so some things in America I have seemed to find less interesting when compared to castles and such. However, the other tour I took was with girls youth group around a place called Stone Mountain. And it does during the fall. We toured the four houses there and took a hayride to each house. During the ride we were told ghost stories that had history in them. Now THAT I did really love. One, I love creepy stories and Halloween and I love how it was presented.

- that sounds like a lot of fun! i love ghost stories. well, i like everything spooky, mysterious, and suspenseful. i hated the school trips, too, but found a museum that i love on one of those trips. i guess it's really a set of museums. the smithsonian institute in washington dc. it was there i found a love of history and spooky things. there are supposedly ghosts all over the museums. but one ghost i remember well wasn't at one of the museums. my mother was showing some relatives around the capitol building. my younger brother and i were bored so we were playing on some steps that lead down to the basement. at that time you could travel between various government buildings underground through tunnels. the tunnels were built so politicians didn't have to deal with traffic and sight-seers while going from building to building. they're blocked off now due to 9/11. while we were playing on the steps we saw a black cat run down them. we chased after it because why not? we chased it down the steps and around a corner and ran right into a capitol policeman. he asked what we were doing down there and where were our parents? we told him we were chasing a cat. he asked what cat? we said the black one. he said there is no black cat down here anymore. it died years ago. what you saw was it's ghost. scared my brother so bad he ran back up the steps and clung to our mother the rest of the visit. hmmm, i didn't mean to type so much. :joy sorry, one of my favorite subjects is ghosts. :D ❤

Yes and I've left it a bit not so clean before. My house is never really dirty or really clean. I'm a reformed neat freak. :-P That is funny she thought you had hired a maid. :-D

oh I love the Smithsonian :D they are amazing! We went through one of those tunnels too when we toured a section of the pentagon. wow that's spooky. lol no worries I love it too. Type as much as you want.

good thing about the flower maze is you can get in an out of it without problems lol I've made a hedge maze before and it was annoying so I made openings LOL. I look forward to seeing it. It is a cool place

thanks :) Finally got into the wardrobe. of course you can :) I think it's coming along nicely although I don't have many decorations yet, other than the Mario stuff. I just put in paths in the main part today. yours?

It's a mess still. I need to get more brave and start doing more island structure stuff. And I hate that my storage only holds 400 items and I hope it expands again. I'll need to come see yours in the near future.

Oh wow, that’s amazing you went back to school :O I don’t think I will ever go back but that’s ok. I don’t have anything I’m passionate about accept for loving my kiddos and that’s enough for me :3 Ugh, they really are the worst D: But yes!! It’s so nice having a remodeled bathroom 😍 If only we could remodel the whole house 😂
