- nice there are hooks that make it easy. My latest thing is the graph crochet...not quite as zen as a repeat row because you have to follow the graph but there are so many cute designs. I don't think I'd ever make something big with it but a hat or even a pillow would be okay.
I have never used a graph to do a crochet design, I would love to try.
- this video helped me with color changing. I am not using the waistcoat stitch like she uses in the video...it looks nice but I struggled with it. I'm just using single crochet and it works but doesn't have the "knit stitch" look. The video is not the best quality but other videos did not help me learn the color change like this one did.
Oh wow thank you! I am going to use the whole video. My son is asking for a beanie. I normally make beanies on a circular weaving hoop and a pick.
I love making beanies :) There is one person on youtube who makes tons of different beanies and her instructions are so easy to follow. It took me a minute to adjust to her accent but now that I have she is one of my favorites. I've also since learned that the accent or even language doesn't matter...since we can just watch and follow. If you search Sirin's Crochet on YouTube you'll see great tutorials on all styles of beanies. She does one graph beanie (a heart) that I can see but it is so simple she explains it without a graph and she uses a front post double crochet that makes a nice texture :)
I am going to have son look and find beanie pattern he wants.
, I fully understand needing a dog in your life, I told myself was never getting another after the best dog/friend went to heaven but it was about a year I started looking. I found another best dog! I'm so glad retirement has suited you well! I had carpal tunnel and have two forms of arthritis legs and arms then fell a couple of times..we all manage don't we? I forgot to mention I can't see any threads nor much of anything unless I sign in again after logging out so lurk just occasionally but was good hearing from you.
My back is my issue, and hips that I injured in the military. I may have already got arthritis in my back with age, but think the back injury didnt help.
- I always see others with their dogs when I'm anywhere...and I always ask if I can pet the dog...I fall in love with all of them so I'm finding out it should be easy to find another best dog ever. I'm already thinking about size. Previous pooch was 40 pounds...short legs though (corgi/golden mix)...I think I'd like a dog I can have on my lap and that I can pick up but not too tiny. I'm thinking a little 20 to 25 pound of some sort. Having said that just see if a big dog wanders into my future :)
I got a new puppy last thursday, she is pittie mix 5 months old. We already have a dog whose pittie mix, too. So Kate is already bigger than Rondo/Ronnie whose 6 years old. We were looking for a buddy for Ronnie. We had tried two other dogs, but they were to controlling and scared Ronnie who has a history of abuse before we got him. So this time, we figure a female puppy would be better no dominating behavior or aggression. So far they are buddies, eat together and take naps together. So we feel we got a good match. Ronnie's input was important to choice, we took him with, for a meet and greet. Both are black and white patches/spots and look like littermates.
- congrats on your new furry family member :) She sounds like a good fit. Can't wait till my search begins.
Dog sitcom: There was kinda one a few years back. Relationship "comedy" with dog narration. It pressed my sad buttons with a sledgehammer so I didn't finish watching it. Downward Dog it was called. Have a beautiful journey. Truly sorry for your loss and I hope you find your dog. ❤ I wanted to stop when I lost the "greatest dog in the Universe." Sadly that choice was not respected. Don't get me wrong, I love my dogs and am undoubtedly their person but I was not ready. They deserve better.
still too dumb to crochet so nopes right out of that part looks at the needles tho ^^
(Finally replying from a few days ago.) I'm glad Mr. Rondo found his match. He's good people. As are you. ❤
Your dungeon is on an incline. Angry creatures cannot play marbles. [tot=Kyth]
I hope you can find your perfect match. Just my two cents, there are no dogs better than mutts, especially if they're terrier mixes. I love me some terriers! I have Coco at the moment, first purebred I've ever had.

Going Fishing!!! 🐟
- thank you! I understand about being ready or not ready...it took me this long to be really ready for another doggie.
-- I'm wondering if when the time comes will I choose the dog or will the dog choose me? Won't be till after the summer travels so it's awhile to wait. I'll keep you posted :)
Removing a broken bolt/screw isn't complicated. My friend had this problem today with his Escalade, a screw broke on the distributer cap. I know one method is to use a drill to bore a hole to remove the piece with an extractor or allen wrench. I simply provided my cordless drill and a hint for removal. I should ask him how it resulted.
I'm certain the piece just came out as it was being bored out.
Mine about a week away to mine nest Loyalty box. No surprise, mine opting for GA.
, hope all ok with you... miss us playing the story! , let the pups choose you!
Oh lord guys, I am so sorry I havent updated in a while on Adam. Ok so here we go. He is awake, he is in a room and no longer in the icu/ccu center. He still/has a treach they changed it today to the one that will allow you to speak with it. Hes on the normal style dialysis right now (he was on a continuous one until late this last week) we are still currently looking at like August 1st I believe he said was the earliest he could get to come home. So long road is still in place.
You feel... strange[BR] OH NO. It appears that you've angered one of the residents of Shadowglen and they attacked you! [BR]You might want to get that checked out...
- yes I'm thinking that is best...I can hardly wait. I saw a dog tonight that was so cute - a poodle terrier mix...so cute and a good size...some lucky person was taking him for a walk :)
- thank you for the update ❤ so glad to hear of the improvements but such a long road still ahead. Your sweet family still in my prayers ❤
