For those wondering about that jury duty I mentioned.. I've been put on call this week, so I'm just waiting hoping my phone stays charged in case I get a call.

But...

I just got a call a bit ago.. My aunt's dog (whom I love so much and I'm close to her family and her dog), has a tumor that's spread to her liver and other places enough that they can't really do surgery. They are going to have to put her down sometime in the next couple of days.

I felt so numb at first.. I've been to so many funerals in my life I've actually lost count.
All I want to do now is go hug her and give what love I can before it's time.

I was using that sCode that is showing in the tab under Interact, Forums, sCode Reference. It does show the little face but when you click on it, it says that the pet doesn't exist. Until a month or so ago, it did work so that you could also see the pet profile not a doesn't exist message. All of my pets are legacy pets but neither sCode showing will also link to the pet profile. Neither pet link nor legacy pet link.

I still miss seeing the little pet face in the circle, lol. It was much cuter and easier just to be able to show that little face and have someone just click that cute little face in the circle and have it go directly to that pet's profile. She quickly got to a point of not being able to eat or move much. They decided to take her in earlier this afternoon. I got to spend a little time with them before they went, but I didn't think I could handle going in with them. They've decided to bury her in a nearby cemetery. Jazzman was a great girl. </3

Oh the fun times with pets. My dog is a velcro(stuck to you) dog and follows us everywhere in the house. I dont know if I will get last tier achievement for tossing snowballs, but I am trying. I want to know how this kids are getting weapons of any type. Their dang parents need to lock up their weapons, and not let their kids visit homes with weapons. BUT minor children under 18 shouldnt be able to be near weapons. Although in this case the shooters were 18-19 years old, and from the same school. flowers are called, blooming crocus. I know Sanne is very upset about her brother, and that is why she isn't here. But I worry about her and her health.

I was lucky to see my older son and his family, and don't know when I can see him again. We video chat over our mobiles/cell phones. I am glad I had all my vaccinations and booster, or I would not have traveled at all. I dont want my grand daughter to get sick she is to young. I fear the mutations of COVID, and wish there was a way to finally end this pandemic. I follow the rules when going out, and carry my own hand sanitizer. But still happy when I get home.

Unfortunately no. 2-2-22 would have been a cool birth or adopted date to have. Sadly, I have to wait 2 more months for a loyalty totem, 1500csc or 100 million Sp for another pet slot is just a bit out of my reach right now.

Thank you Hugs I kinda cried myself to sleep early afternoon, and when I woke up at night it felt like .. a day or two had already passed ? ..like I was already feeling better ? (almost like I'm getting used to deaths..) But I know grief can ebb and flow and I can be happy one moment, then remember about them and be holding back tears. (also, I'm really good at distracting myself away from issues..) I did adopt a pet as tribute to her (and I liked the date, contrary to my feelings). I think it helped a little (oddly enough..).

It didn't take long for the majority to melt. The skies are clear now, but single digit cold in some parts of the borderland. Mine hear of -3C...

That's good some has already melted. Ours is going to freeze again tonight and then it will be clear for the rest of the weekend. My dog enjoyed the snow more then my 3 yr old did haha. It was pretty funny seeing my kiddo go out side, stand there for a bit and then go back inside. My dog ran around the yard and wanted to play fetch for a bit.
