Mine tend to the remnants of a large flock of egg laying hens. After my mother's death and an enclosure made, they slowly died off...partly because we didn't separate the geese we raised. The males became aggressive durng the female's nesting.

Mine left with four hens, two are full sized, another two are small. He geese have hatched before, but only one has survived. If the hatch more, mine will make efforts to separate the males from the female's.

I also used to raise rabbits and goats, we... ate the rabbits and the goats were sold to pay old debts.

we had geese the longneck gray geese and MAN were they mean and territorial..they each had a huge full size winebarrel as their own warm and strawfilled spot and the chickens and roosters all went into their locked in roost baskets for the night :):) and were secure. we also had rabbits and guinnea hens the latter of which hung out in the trees at night even at winter progressing to freeze their toes off :(:(. the rabbits also served as food of which i could NEVER eat . we had one cock called George and man he was a meaaaannnnn one. used to fly into my long hair with his horned legs and fight me trying to pick u the eggs in the roosts....wow you brought back alot of memorize there!

Yes, the males...I actually enjoy the bites. That reason is why we had egg laying hens only.

Well, I can understand your aversion to eating rabbit. We had decimate them after enough time passed that they were inbreeding.

Unless a big freeze passed that would kill them all, mine think I'll be dealing with them until age finished them off.

ya it is hard to take care of some thing YOU didnt start on your own..i became responsible for a fleet of rabbit condos with them all jumping about and geese qnd henns when my dad flwe off to be in California. It is a bitch to take care of them all!! When i was in college my dad would send me canned Hassenpfeffer..a stewed rabbit dish. Late stufy or paty nights on the dorms i would bring it out n not tell them what it was till later cause they all lovedddd it hahah..it is just like delicar=te chicken to be truthful.. I would only have some chickens for their eggs at this pooint..though i never WILL be. I live n a neighborhood now not open country even though IT and the ocean are very near by.. So do you get enough heat from your stove?? do you need to keep chucking little woods into it? I lived in northern Wiscomsin with a boyfriend up in Rhinelander for only a year where we burned oakwood and HELL i loved the smell but we stunk like firewood forever.as well as our clothes. had car trouble one night and stopped ion the pure pristine snow white beauty to NO CARS going by..i think i dropped that memory from my mind on purpose..YIKES to think of it all NO GOOD. [Color=green]Just random thinking..Here are several things i miss that we had here:[/color] [/color]1) under "give to friend/and nonfriend.".i used to use the "nonfriend Blnak cause it was easier..the names would drop down from a-z of ones listed there from last use..it made it sooo easy when i send everyone a gift!! Worked better than the gifting at Friends list.

]2) I wish my cardgames and the stackable images game Mahjong still here..was my very very favorite to stop my mind from wandering and just PLAY! I havent played games since they left long ago and i miss it..(not the spindles game.. is great at that game i think it was!!}

3) i REALLY liked the "you already have this item" in the WishList section..to go through and know right away if you have doubles. I know we have another route for that now, but it is another couple of steps and not as efficient if trying to organize the WL section. That donkey game is hilarious but drives me nuts hahah :) Well NOW i feel like checking the games out again:)

Mine not on much today, only shop and a visit to my sister's house. We spent the entire afternoon chatting, eating, an the adults had a wine tasting. It was a good time in these trying times.

Mine going to do what is possible before bedtime, mine will stow the tools morning time.

Today's shop was another exercise in component removal and installation. Our instructor mentioned nest shop we resume the topic of transmission removal, with a continuation after spring break.
