I have always used mine for the ever hard to attain for me pet slots. Over time, I found a couple overlays I'd love to do for some pets, and it seems to be the only way I'll get an angelic (when I can finally pick which beauty I want..). So I've Tried to save a couple for that. But when there's a new pet I Really want... I tend to get the pet slot.. Guess I was meant to get one at a different time this time..

If you are trying to get a new strain of virus, do NOT put on a previous year's strain to bite other people Until AFTER you are Certain you have the new strain. Otherwise it is likely to assume you are already infected and not able to have the new strain.

[Currently, you cannot visit the page to get the strain if you have a skin on. What I mean is if you sign up for a strain, go to the forums and Then decide to put a previous skin on to bite others. It will likely affect whether you Actually Get the new strain (whether or not you decide to take the previous skin off right after).]

I hope this has been helpful to you all that might not have realized.. (as I found out the hard way..).

I think it actually was a mistake I made.
I put myself in the queue to get a new virus, I had not actually Received it yet, I put on a virus skin from a previous year before I received the new one (so I could bite people in the biting thread) and I assume when it got to my name in the line for the new virus it thought I had already been infected with a virus because I was wearing a skin from a previous virus at that moment.

I hope that cleared things up..?

I like to also keep in mind this is the first big event since Bug got a new job. So they are working on things without them there to fix it.

I went for the 2022 strain Parched. Was leaving my avi sadly naked and cold until it takes this time. Seems I finally got it while I was napping..?? Yeah, my sister and I were just saying earlier we think Hyper will be the favorite this year.

Oh! Just in case you all didn't know. In the thread that's tracking the new virus strains, they have a poll to vote what the name will be for the new strains. :P You guys should check it out. Some of them are Hilarious. lol
