Hi ! Happy Luminaire!

My Subeta journey began 14 years ago and sometimes I question why I spend so much time and effort and money here, day after day and week after week and well...year after year! I think it's because, hey I don't go anywhere or do much outside of my job which is a lot of hard work and I can easily justify every moment and every dollar I spend here. But in the beginning and I can't even tell you what year it was but my daughter was probably 8 or 9 years old and her cousin had a neopets account that had been set up by his mom (my sister) and it was to teach him about money because you could earn money (well not real money) and put it in a bank and collect interest. At any rate, he became bored with it but we loved it and each of us had accounts there. My friend Michelle (who quit Subeta a few years ago) invited me to play Subeta and was giving me Wizard Tokens and stuff and I didn't know what they were for!!! :) But anyway, we left neo and lived happily ever after at Subeta because of the creativity, the art, the hilarious descriptions on so many of the incredible items, the pets! The avvies! The clothes!!! We got rid of the neo because it was so commercialized and they sold out. Another thing I love about Subeta, no ads!! And the gold accounts make it very worthwhile and now even better with the subscriptions!!! And that is only part of my Subeta story.

I played neopets for years, through the highs and (very deep) lows, but at some point, about 6 years, 9 months, 1 week, and 4 days ago (apparently that's when I joined lol) the lag was SO bad for literal weeks, that it became unplayable for me. it's then that I googled for games that we're like/similar to neo. I think subeta was one of the first recommended and I remember being put off by the human avatars and pet spotlight, as it seemed like a LOT of personal/individual art skills was involved??? but then I tried sub anyway and discovered the donation center, which seemed like a great place haha. the items were just so pretty, though I was kinda panicked by the sheer amount of them! pretty soon after I was drawn by the collecting element of subeta (I was a gourmet and book nerd on subeta :P)

tbh once I got the hang of subeta I never returned to neo C:

I'm also a neopets refugee. I had been playing neopets for years, but in 2006 or 2007 they did a massive overhaul and revamped EVERY SINGLE neopet and turned them into chibi monstrosities all in the name of being able to dress them up with scarves and necklaces.... NTY. I quit on the spot, but there was a void in my heart that needed filling, and talking with some friends online subeta came up, and the art was so much better than neopets ever was, and the community more mature and friendly! And training a pet.... SO MUCH easier on subeta! Came for the art, stayed for the community and battles!

I used to play Neopets and would visit this fansite that listed all the dailies on one convenient page. One day I noticed a little subeta referral banner on the bottom of the page and curiosity got the best of me. I clicked it and here I am. I liked the HA's and more lax rules in the forums. Not the most exciting story of discovery, but it's mine. 😅

A lot of us came here after being frozen or otherwise disenchanted with Neo, which shouldn't have been surprising lol. But I enjoyed reading everyone's stories. :D I was still sort-of actively playing until a couple months ago (around the most recent Altador Cup), and then I just quit and haven't been back. Whoever said it went rapidly downhill once Flash died was totally right.

Anyway! Since I am rapidly running out of time before I have to leave, I will stop rambling!

Nah what you do with the potion is your own affair! And making a Harvest potion is a completely legit use of a Glade potion, HOWEVER! I do have a Harvest potion that wasn't included in the giveaway (because I only have one, the ones I'm giving away are extras), but if you'd like it and not have to wait a whole year to color your pet (because man that would drive me nuts), it's yours!

yeah I don't know how to make it so it generates a sequence of a certain number without using the generator that lets it repeat numbers, so I had to just count, but there you go!
