Not too long ago, in a land not very far away, lived a prince with brown locks of hair and the sun in his eyes. While princes, in general, live a fairly easy life, that was not the case for this prince! You see, this pretty prince had the biggest crush on Melody who—preferring the cold and all, wasn’t all that interested in this sun-kissed prince. Luckily for the prince though, he, like all Subeta citizens (warm and cold alike!), was still very welcome to come enjoy her company every day in December! (And let's be honest, doesn't unrequited love hurt a little less when you get a present every day?)
Music and lights danced though the house as we prepared for breakfast, making my daughter look around in confusion, though I'd experienced it before. Melody needed our help to make magic, and there was no time for questions, just a short explanation. My husband and I listened in silence, our daughter still gap-mouthed in shocked awe at the ethereal woman who'd broken our peace this morning. We listened to a story about another young girl who didn't have anyone else to make her day merry, leaving the three of us to weave a spell and we didn't have time for a grand undertaking, just moving at highest possible speed to correct this injustice. Snow fell in a quiet blanket over the three of us as we watched a young girl laugh in delight; we'd beaten the clock.
It's five sentences. That's about all I can say... LOL
There once was a family of nine who lived far into the pine. With so little to spare, the family managed to leave only a humble bundle of carrots and a small plate of warm pine nut cookies; no tree, no garland, and a fireplace mantel bare. On the night of flurries and magic, sweet Melody saw the offerings and knew what to do, and so with a tug and a wink, the room came to life. Before melody gathered the offerings, she gave a personal gift in return. When the family awoke to a room of delight, there, hung on the mantel, was Melody's stocking filled with treats and a lovely handwritten note "to those who give from the heart, shall also receive one from me."

Oh dear. I am not good at writing..... But here goes.
Once upon a time there was an iceeci who hated the cold.
While all the other iceecies were happily playing in the snowdrifts of Artic Frost, she peered, shivering, into the windows of firelit homes, wishing she could be inside with the cozy looking ruffies and felis she saw lounging in front of warm fireplaces.
One day when she was trudging through the ice and snow on her way to visit the human village, she stumbled over a shivering human child, lost and alone in the woods.
Wrapping her warm furry body around the freezing child, she coaxed them to their feet and urged onto the right path to the village with gentle nips and nudges.
When they finally got to the village, the child's worried parents were so grateful they welcomed the iceeci into their warm and cozy home where she lives happily to this day.
The label on the bottle said “Drink me,” and Carl, never one to turn his nose up at any form of potable, rolled his eyes and snickered as he lifted the bottle to his lips. As he finished the potion, Carl's vision sharpened and he was assaulted by glittering and sparkling lights all around, how had he never noticed them before? Suddenly sober, he could hear songs, laughter and excitement in the street at the end of his alleyway and realized it was Lumineve! He hadn't gotten gifts for anyone yet, so he started to rummage through the pile of...er...prizes...he kept on hand, chagrined, he knew they just wouldn't do. Finally, he remembered his shop and dipped into this stock so his friends would end up having a merry Luminaire indeed!
LOL my teachers always complained about my run-on sentences, but they came in handy for this!

every Luminaire, all the creatures of Subeta would gather, exchange gifts, and decorate their trees. there was a little tree in the woods who saw the decorated trees and sadly said "how i wish i could celebrate Luminaire and be as beautiful as those trees." as it happens, a little Kanis who lived nearby overheard the little tree's wish and was determined to make the little tree's wish come true. with the help of the fairies, word spread, and everyone came with ornaments to decorate the little tree. the little tree was filled with joy, and from then on, the little tree celebrated every Luminaire with the other creatures of Subeta. :)
Lumi was never the time of year she enjoyed locked in a castle all alone. The snow fell and it always felt extra cold. She wished her price would come someday soon. She shivered as she looked out the window. A horse was galloping in the distance was it toward her castle? Maybe this lumi would be different. She brightened as the horse drew closer was a prince atop the steed she watched with batted breath.

Once upon a time, there lived an old trinket maker in a small, cold, icy village. He made a myriad of different items, but his favorites were always the Luminaire snowglobes he made that reminded him of his dearly departed wife; often they would contain little references or hints to his wife. Then, one Christmas Eve night, he was awaken by a sound coming from his workshop and quickly hurried in to find his newest creation had come to life! Inside the snowglobe was the scene of his wife cooking Luminaire dinner, one of her favorite. Enamored, the trinket maker enjoyed watching the scene of his wife until the clock struck midnight and the snowglobe was still one more, but not without having touched and warmed his heart with love and Luminaire spirit.
