Eh. Saw the specialist and they say I don't need surgery which is good I guess but the solution is to send me to pain management and like...so far that hasn't done anything for me for 15 years so I'm just...really disappointed.

Here's some pictures of Melody <3
Reaper i can see how that would be disappointing. Can you see another specialist?
Puppy ! So, so precious.
Same. I have way too many awesome things I've been ignoring in general.
She's adorable! Please give her pets and kisses from me. And they're referring me to a pain management specialist pending insurance approval. I can't really see anyone they don't refer me too unfortunately.
Very same. Also an update for you on the back situation and the doctor response: osteopathic surgeon says my spine looks good structurally so there's not anything he can do for me - the compression isn't bad enough at the moment to warrant surgery. He's put in a referral for a pain management specialist. I'm disappointed because I was hoping for a fix, not management =/
will do. Put her into bed now though. lol she's had a long full day :)
ugh that's frustrating.
I had to go to the doctor today and wound up having callouses removed. He's told me I need physical therapy so now I've gotta find insurance some how.
I can imagine. Puppies are boundless energy and then they crash hard haha. She really is a doll though. Ouch on the removals :( I hope it's not too bad, and I'm sorry that you've gotta hunt for insurance to deal with physical therapy.
yes lol it's so sweet in a way :)
the removals are painless thankfully and I'm in a lot less pain now, but lol yeah I am not looking forward to finding insurance and figuring how to pay for it
Do you qualify for the government insurance that's fully paid? It's hard to figure out the right way to apply and varies by state but you may qualify for totally unpaid insurance.
You should qualify for Medicaid then. The main California program was like that but I qualified for MediCal as a result (but of course they don't tell you that). It's an ordeal to figure out and differs state to state on websites and such, but you should qualify for something if you're not qualifying for discounted insurance.
Also - I was completely baffled that I couldn't qualify for deeply discounted insurance because I didn't make enough money. Like...isn't that the whole point of the discounted insurance?
