what about going to america's best or getting transitions?
I have transitions right now and they're scratched to hell and back - I've already had to replace the lenses once within the first year I had them before the warranty ran out. I won't bother getting them again since the coating that makes them do that scratches too easily and leaves me seeing tons of nicks and stuff when I'm wearing my glasses. Plus they don't work in the car since it has UV protection coating on the windows/windshield so I'd be squinting the whole time I'm driving.
Also I am not sure what Americas is. I don't think we have it out here. I can go to like Costco to see an eye doctor for cheaper but getting glasses there or warby parker who does the good discounts is still not really affordable. I have basically no money at all and I can't even put them on a credit card because I've already had to use mine way too much to supplement our incomes to get groceries so we don't starve and shit. It's just unrealistic to be able to replace my glasses right now sadly.
Wow I've never had that happen with mine o.0. Though my glasses tint slightly in the car. But for me, I like the slight tint in the car as I've never been terribly fond of driving with sunglasses on.
I thought you've said you've used America's best before for glasses.. It's a shame because they are pretty good.
THere's some online places that do some good discounts. Hear you on the groceries going cray-cray with the prices and all. We've been struggling with it too. We've cut back and still mum and dad use their combined income on the first for groceries. And we still have to do supplemental orders at least once during the rest of the month. -sigh- I really hope this inflation calms down soon :(
It's definitely bonkers anymore. It's really really exhausting. And unfortunately the bright light really hurts me so I have to put on sunglasses when I'm outside in the sun or I can't function :(

They're the worst. And on top of their natural evil itch inducing business...I'm fully allergic to them so I break out in hives and try to scratch my skin off on hard surfaces in my sleep.

I hope you're both doing well. It's been a super long and exhausting week at work (I worked monday through yesterday). I'm totally beat.

I'm still super worn out but at least my boss is back so I'm not mostly alone trying to do so much.

Iunno, some people I know would find a way to argue it. They will argue anything.
I did not get much rest. It was another long week at work (very busy) with me having to work today too (so 6 days again) and on top of that my car's driver window borked out on me when I went to get lunch Wednesday and was stuck down. Cost me $215 to repair and didn't get fixed until Friday morning so my car was just parked on the back yard at work where it could be locked up at least since the window was down. And my bf woke Thursday morning with his eye and mouth on his left side drooping. He didn't have any other signs of a stroke but we took him to the doc yesterday to get some confirmation and treatment for probable Bell's Palsy. It's been a long week.
