I can do most ocean settings because I can usually see a portion of what's going on in the water. I still prefer pools.

ugh that sucks. We sometimes have to go to the bigger city but otherwise we ship if we can’t get them here. We’re in the city but also the country so its kinda hybrid

We can usually get stuff shipped, but can't get food ordered (so no pizza or even something like uber eats; or the one that does the grocery shopping for you).

ah yes that's a challenge. We have a challenge in getting the pizzas delivered and door dash doesn't do a lot of things here--lol not that we've tried to do many of those things but still...

the forums have been a problem so no worries. Oh yeah I can't wait, I need them for so many things and am praying they don't bother me as much as my current ones do.

Yeah, I mostly just wish I could get pizza, or even some nice Chinese food delivered. But no, I live too far. And there are bears and mountain lions living on my property that looks like a black hole the moment the sun is down. Whiners. ... Literally, though, we do have those and the very moment the sun is down it's so dark outside that with a flashlight we still can't see more than ten feet ahead. It's scary as fuck.

I have never had a pool but my best friend used to have one (not anymore since he lives with us now) and I miss it.

teeheehee So today's been a pretty hellish and tough day for me. My doctor is out of town on a family emergency and the other doctor in the office isn't qualified to do many things. Well apparently he has a friend in Atlanta who came down (2 hour drive) to help out whilst he was still in Africa. So I got to see her. She was running behind because of an accident in Atlanta causing a traffic jam and arrived at 10.15 which was when she arrived as well 😔 So I had to wait forever to see her. They also had a difficult patient ahead of me which didn't help. Anyway, the nurse decided to tell the doctor that I always take off any wrapping that isn't a cast--a complete non-complyant patient. Whilst it is true I have a history of that, I've never done it for my foot during the surgery recovery. But even when i tried to defend myself, she laid into me so bad that I felt like a slug. Believe me, I'm extremely well aware of the problems being diabetic causes. She told me i had to do complete bed rest/no walking for the next two weeks to try to get this wound to heal. Then to insure I complied she put the cast on in a way that make it impossible for me to walk on the foot. So I'm forced to use my walker for everything. I was in a LOT of pain most of the day. my apt was at 10.30 but with all the delays and such I didn't leave until 1.30. I did my best to help put the groceries way with dad and my scooter then I laid on my bed for a short nap. I finally had to take tynol 3 at dinner time. Anyway that's been my day. back pain too because those chairs aren't comfortable and I already have back problems. So...there's my update. Another cast and scooter all the time which is hard and not sure how I'm gonna shower. -sighs- Next apt is 6th of July.

Firstly happy birthday! Secondly I read your most recent post to Muerte and I'm so sorry your appointment turned out so awful. There are ways to talk to people to express the seriousness of an issue without making them feel like crap and you didn't deserve that. I hope your next appointment goes better.

It really makes me angry and sad how many medical professionals are so shitty to folks. Nobody deserves that kind of treatment at all. And the nurse shouldn't have said things that way either. I'm glad your real doc will be back soon at least.

The weather is all sorts of wonky this year. We've had the days getting hotter but the nights being cold. Then hot days and a random rainy/cool day in the middle. And back to mostly hot day and night but a little cold in the mornings. I don't know what is going on.
