yeah I'm just not a fan of the early mornings. 9am is rough on me lol. But I used to hook up with the owner's husband so the family knows me well lol, we all go to play parties together. I got shown what all they do, looks like it's going to be a lot of scooping litter boxes and shaking out towels and changing newspaper... sweeping the floor, mopping, some laundry... nothing too intense and they let you take as long as you need because the regular person is sooooo slow, it got too expensive to pay her so the owner changed it to pay by the job. So mornings pay $50 and nights are $25 and you just get it done at your own pace.

The parents were cool today, we went to this Asian place I really love and got bento boxes. Then I finally showed them my lot! It's always such a pretty drive out to my land. They liked it a lot and could really picture where my house is going to be. I'm not building for another 5+ years but it's fun to think about :)

I was d r e a d i n g homework but I already knocked out the discussion board and the paper. Now I just have those stupid module things I hate to no end. "Type the word you hear NO THAT'S SPELLED WRONG no we won't tell you the correct spelling" "slice the word into phonetic parts and define each segment" AAAAAAH

it's medical terminology. Chinese is like 2 pages of finishing dialogue due on my birthday so I'm taking my sweet time getting to that. I have 10 more things left, getting there! I think I forgot to do my modules last week and chapter 8 was like hai u missed me???

I just keep forgetting how to spell stuff but I do pretty ok with the defining and whatever. I'm not really taking these so seriously, whatever grade I get is what it's gonna be but my cumulative grade is like 86% so I DON'T CARE

I think I brought my average down to an 81% but as long as I have a 70% or higher by the end of the semester I'm fine. gonna go to 7/11 in 30min when the cool person gets in, I don't feel so great and just want something nice before bed.

I went from just not feeling great to having a sore throat, severe cold chills and muscle aches, and a headache. I went to the ER around 3am and all they could tell me was it's not strep, flu, or covid -- just some unidentified upper respiratory tract infection. So I called out of work on technically my first day and just napped a lot.

Mariah just left the hospital, bet she's going to be amazed at the house.

its just annoying bc the readings r always so long and 4 the discussions we have specific questions we gotta answer, so i dnt rly feel like i ever actually get 2 share my Viewpoints on what interested me. also i have some problems w a textbook abt gender so aggressively using "he or she" and barely mentioning trans ppl lol

that's not very fun :( especially the gender stuff. I got really mad in my medical terminology class about wrong pronouns being used for a trans girl and other stuff. Hate when classes aren't great about it.

Still just know it's some mystery thing. I have 2 more days of the antibiotic and I've been napping every day. I went to the cat place Thursday and it went well, then had orientation at the store at 5:30 and it only lasted like an hour and a half... actual first day of that is Sunday night. Mariah thinks it's a lot better so I feel good about spending $720 to get it done. I know hoarding clean outs can be anywhere from $200 to $1200 so I feel I got a good deal on the mess. There's still dog diarrhea I gotta clean up in the living room, just a few spots that really dried on and I haven't got around to soaking and scrubbing yet. I wasn't gonna make the cleaning lady do all that. I want to shampoo the carpet too. Maybe I'll do that tonight. I don't remember how to use the carpet shampooer but I'm sure there's directions I can find somewhere.
