dude I cut my hand a week ago or so and thought it healed and then it swelled up to double the size of my other hand and I had a crazy high fever so I had to go to urgent care Turns out it was a staph infection!! I’ve been on antibiotics and my hand is normal human sized again today and doesn’t hurt like a b*tch so I’m very happy about that. It’s been a long couple days

im ok, just trying 2 work myself out of a funk ive been in lately. ive been sleeping rly late in2 the day bc i keep having these rly vivid dreams tht r hard 2 pull myself out of agh its so annoying. they arent particularly good or bad dreams, they r just like... weird, and i feel like i Gotta figure out whats going on lmao

not rly, mite watch a movie or smth tho idk what. maybe if i get a lot done 2nite i can have some dranks tmrw

that’s stressful. There was a point where I was having lots of dreams I couldn’t wake up from. I’m thankful that was shortlived. I hope u figure out what’s causing it or figure out how to navigate it better. That sounds not fun

ugh a while ago, maybe like a year ago-ish? i was having super vivid dreams tht were also heavily based in reality and man those fucked me up. half the time i was awake i felt like i was living in a dream. contrast tht 2 the dreams ive been havin lately tht, while vivid, literally take place in video game settings (but like in real life) lmao. thank u tho, i hope i do too bc its just rly annoying tht its gettin in the way of my like being a normal human being lol

dude that sounds wild. I had a dream last night I was in my hometown and trying to bike to this brunch place that they don’t have in my hometown, but I was trying to go on the back roads and kept falling off my bike. Super irritating. I also don’t own a bike in real life so that was odd. Dreams are weird.

Yeah I’m hoping it’ll be chill. An alumni from my grad program lives literally ten houses down from me (which is wild bc we went to school in Oregon and both ended up on the same street in OKC) so him n his gf are coming over too so there will be multiple ppl. I’m hoping my dog is chill about it because he’s been super protective and kind of an asshole to strangers since we moved into this house and idk why. He’s always been shy but lately he’s been like… snappy. Which is not good. So hopefully having everyone in the backyard where they can throw the ball freely for him he’ll realize that ppl are fun and not a threat.

ya basically when ppl come over I always have them give him treats. With women he’s fine but with men he’s sketch. He’s super ball motivated though so the treats aren’t super effective, but if you throw his ball for him he’s usually pretty chill. So I’m hoping this will be good practice having new people in the back yard and everyone can throw his ball if he brings it!

hey y'all, sorry I keep disappearing for like ever. I did some homework yesterday and my partner got transferred to Petersburg so she's like 3 hours away now. We had a big argument right before she went in the hospital and I feel like I triggered things? Like, I gave her my phone to hold on to at a party because I didn't have pockets and she gave it to somebody else and I freaked out about security and trust issues and she kept trying to say sorry but I don't treat that as some magic word that makes everything ok so she thought I was being an asshole and the next day she went in the psych ward. But I know things were headed that way, she cut a few days ago and sobbed her eyes out in the shower before the party, so it wasn't just me causing things to get worse.

I'm hiring someone to clean my house tomorrow because it's on its way to being a hoarding situation and I just have to fix this mess before it gets any worse. It's stressing me out but I'm like frozen and unable to work on it myself.

plus I also have an overly protective dog so I relate to this thread. He used to be ok with people but then it was just us for a long time and he got protective of me and now he's an asshole. I hope he'll chill with the cleaning people but I might shove him in my partner's room just so he doesn't bite anyone. I would put him in mine but the mess is creeping out the doorway and I can't close my door at the moment.

I did a paper earlier. Tomorrow I have a discussion board, paper, and Pearson modules to do. But first I have my one new job at 9am and parents at noon. Gonna be doing this cat boarding thing for a friend, tomorrow is supposed to just be an hour or so to be shown around the place but after that it's going to be like 3-5 hours a week and more when she's sick or during holidays.
