True story: back when the group ping system was first introduced, it applied even in code blocks. I made a post in a CustomCSS thread in which I colored something light gray... prompting several politely confused replies from people who couldn't figure out why their group had been pinged. Staff quickly realized what was going on: the group's initials were AAA, and its tag was, of course, #‌aaa—the hex color code I'd used. They added the exception after that.

(I tried to look up the post so I could link it here, but it seems that thread and that group are both now defunct... which I guess makes this a ghost story. Beware! Beware the spectre of syntax collisions!)

Eh don’t mind accidental pings in interesting groups. That being said, I didn’t know it wasn’t recommended to skip the first 15 BQs of the day (they’re pretty snore for Lion). Ugh. Guess I should stop being lazy on those. ~S

The argument is that some EXP is better than no EXP. :P I'm with you that they are pretty mindless. But all in all, it's like an added 5 minutes in a high-tier, low-lag kind of setting. And those 5mim can really add up, EXP-wise.

Normally I would only skip if it's like 11:55pm and I'm trying to finish BQs. But at that point, I really should just be going to bed. 😂

Yep Im fighting mirror ghoul for the tomes and Umbrus and Wolve for extra amulets this lag is killing me. I have to work more at the moment as we are down staff due to mandatory vaccines.

Is there a thread for helpful BC CSS?

I've got a bunch that I have cobbled together over the years, especially extensive modifications to the challenger page, and I've been using the CSS that someone posted that lists all the icon types for each non CS opponent. But I'm curious what other QOL stuff people have out there.

I'm sure there is a way to rearrange all the buttons so that you just keep clicking the same spot over and over to get through BQs or mass battling.
