Actually, I just managed 5 wins with my T9!!! Don't know if I'll try for 6, because it's annoying. But got that book!!

I switched to Gelatin Slayer and Hydragellos Lost Tooth, and lots of GOTF scrolls.

You could get lucky with mods, but it's not worth the struggle without tome or amulet drops

Ummm why add achievements for challenges after an event has started? It doesn't matter to people with large armies of pets but for people with smaller or only one pet they many not be able to get an extra win on top of what they already did.

I would assume they must be higher level achieves, like more than the 25 wins, so people wouldn't have reached the win count yet ... Unless they maxed their wins I guess, but you can usually squeak out that 1 more

Capped pet murdered everything, as he does.

Number 2 pet murdered almost everything, got a win on Fishbreath but it was close enough that I can't be bothered to do more.

New achievements would be fun.

I'm not against new achievements. I'm against the timing. Why not do it before the event starts.

Yeah, if there are going to be new achievements, release them right alongside the pirates. If the achievements are not ready to roll out, then you delay the pirates. Last year we didn't get them til after the holiday ended, so I was kind of expecting that. Unless earned wins now will still count towards whatever new achievements there are.

-shrugs- El didn't grow much over the year, so still stuck at 7 wins on Jac.

There's a reason we didn't bring the boppers back for our anniversary (they will be back at another time don't worry). ;) We didn't want to overload you with challengers, with Morostide coming up, and our pirate-y plans.
