- tomes might be a stretch, amulets from the top 10, or the bosses would be nice though. Or even like rare/super rare weapons? I remember back before the new BQs system, you could get r99 weapons as drops from BQs form impossible opponents. I don't think it would hurt to expand the loot pool for the higher opponents.

- Comet Flash or Maliss cannon are decent ones. Ultra Star Rod would be the best at your tier, but you'd probably have to borrow one. You can pair it with a scroll that also blocks some dark like After Shocks too.

If you plan on getting more into battle, I'd suggest reading more books to your pet! Shadowbone's intel is pretty low compared to the other stats, and intel is what you need to equip more scrolls. Scrolls are pretty crucial at any tier, and can really make a huge difference.

yeah I've been neglecting their intelligence. I don't think I've ever used a scroll. Need to research I think.

After Shocks, the one I mentioned earlier, is one of the best mutli-use scrolls; it heals some, attacks some, and blocks some. It's well worth the price tag. Terra Focujin is also a multi-use healer that's a lower AP cost so you can equip more other scrolls with it; it can be created at the secluded shrine.

Other good ones to look into would be morosbane (opponent loot drop, will likely be available at morostide), Gale Force (in the battle shop), and Perilous Whirlpool (created at the shrines). Those are all once per battle scrolls with useful effects. Gift of the Forj is also a really good one, but a little pricier.

If you end up wanting to borrow that dark blocker I have an Ultra Star Rod that I can lend :) Aftershocks too, if you don't end up buying it right away (it's pretty much the best buyable scroll rn I think)

Click here to see what's been read!" which gets your your unread books page!

unfortunately i think it's only in alphabetical order, so if you want to sort by price or rarity or whatever, you'd have to wishlist all of it and use the wishlist sorting options :c

The site Subetalodge.us actually has a checklist feature that can track what your pet needs to read :D You sign up for free, add your pet, and then you can copy/paste the source code of the books read page I think that was it anyway, I haven't updated mine in a while xD

- I noticed that scrolls thread doesn't have the new tattered scroll piece scrolls on there, not sure any of them are really worth it, but if you beat certain opponents X number of times (200 for easy, 100 for med etc) they drop tattered scroll pieces which can be taken to the genetech lab to be turned into scrolls. Not sure any of them are really worth it, but you can essentially get them for free. I just thought I'd mention that that list isn't actually complete! Subetalodge is a great resource for looking up what the different scrolls do.
