A technical healing question - am I right that all weapons will 'overheal' (not sure if that's the term)? Like a pet with 40max HP can survive 70 damage as long as we use anything that heals 31+? Or are there exceptions to this? Does this still happen if we have higher speed than our opponent?

Speed doesn't have anything to do with it, but yes. As long as your HP at the beginning of a turn, plus the amount you heal that turn, is greater than the amount of damage you receive, you'll survive. That's why GotF is so powerful on small pets!

The eternal struggle! I made a big push earlier in the year, so now all of my pets have at least 30 AP. Still lower than I'd like, but at least enough for Holy Deluge + a Shriek or GotF!

Sorry for the late reply. I'm gonna once I get off my butt and change my amulets to tomes. I'm going to use the tomes to boost her intel and grab some AP as I read them books... Since my pet is capped the only thing I can do is boost intel and level. Half of the tomes I get will go to my second battle pet. That's my lazy plan so far.

Really based on personal preference. High Health builds fare better in the earlier tiers.

You'll move up tiers quicker by focusing on something like a high strength build which would be cheaper in the long run if you know thats what you want as you reach the stat cap.

Hey, thanks for the reply! Honestly, I haven't got the faintest idea about builds; I've just been clicking whichever option the training center gives me. Cheaper sounds pretty good to me. Should I just go all in on strength then?

Oh, yes! My main has 288 AP. 😂 It's just much harder to motivate myself to read to my littles since I have 21 battlers. 🥴

You definitely want to spend your exp in the lower tiers - the exp cost gets higher as you tier up. If you really want to min/max, you can focus on health from exp while training strength. One point of health costs 3,750 exp in tier 13! But generally speaking, strength and health will be the most useful stats to boost. Hard to go wrong with either!
