Not that I could see. I don't know about the high crit-ratio thing because El is really fast compared to the opponents I tested on, but testing with Val, I feel like I got more crits than usual. I tested against Slavam. I'll up the ante and find a similar speed opponent to see more. I went to bed early cause tired. xD

I'd really like to open another 125mil box, but I don't have enough to spare xD (I am determined to keep my 100mil emergency buffer!!! No being flat broke for me!)

No idea what the Lightning is even worth, but I'm guessing I probably couldn't swap it for a Core? Since the core is infinitely more useful?

The Lightning got stat changes recently, right? It's on my WL, but don't remember why. I think it was because of the speed boosts, thought perhaps that might be a niche gimmick to try and use.

I bought the 'cheap' box when it stocked the second? time (several hours ago) and I just opened it and received...

edit: was not on my wishlist, not seen it before shrug I am a slow learner when it comes to battling and do not know everything about it, but am busy trying to train up pets

I'll try my luck then, thank you! :) The core is the only staple on my WL that I'm unsure about ever getting, since it's a damage prize(?) rather than just 'beat X this many times', would be amazing to have it sorted I saw in the mass of comments somewhere that a Jelly War is planned for this year, or early next, but I don't think Tarrant will be ready (I don't even think we'll be ready for Rouland xD)

I am going to be popping in periodically today here to ask basic questions you guys can answer. i need a general consensus on a few recommendations for staple scrolls and crystals, possibly weapons.

First question: What scrolls do you feel or think are staples any player should have when battling? List them out; feel free to explain why, but an explanation is not necessary.

Fwiw, I had 121m to my name. Borrowed 4m off a friend, and bought a box at the 2:50am restock. I earned 1mil, so I have -3m to my name. Lololol I opened a Gelatin Concoction for the folks tracking.

That said, I have a ME already, so I'm debating it's use. It's an achievement locked item, but I'm too poor to only keep it for the overlay. 🤔

My favourites are in there already: I like the Lights of Sprites Scroll since 6 AP isn't that intimidating of a number to reach for people just starting out (or if you're lazy like me and just want to win more stat eggs for the new baby) Aftershocks isn't bank breaking, and it's nice that it gets rereleased each black friday And I do love my (single lol) Forj Scroll for when we both freeze and I need to blast and not die

I'm combing through a lot of scrolls on the lodge and picking out the ones that I think are achievable and reasonable for most sets. Tassled and any gods are ones I question if they're worth listing since obtainability is generally unlikely for most. Not sure on Skelly either for that matter, since we're moving further away from when it was given out as a prize.

Any unlimited use healing scroll, preferably with some attack and defense too. Aftershocks is probably the most cost effect now. OPB scrolls rock for established battlers but this type of scroll can really turn your battling around when you first start. It makes a huge difference in who you can beat, works on almost all challengers, you only have to buy one, the AP cost is doable and there are reasonable priced ones/ones you can win floating around.

My personal favorite is Lucky scroll. Not for beginners unless you are rich as its OPB, high AP and expensive to buy/hard to win. It makes grinding battles fly by. And with 40+ large and well read pets grinding is the majority of what I do.

Just an FYI, if you try to write a guide recommending a truly miniscule amount of go to weapons/spells, they tend to get bought up and the prices skyrocket. Unless it's something like Phoenix Quill that is always available in the MC. Huge weapons guides or Lodge can be difficult to navigate but they seem to keep prices from exploding. shrug Best of luck finding the balance and being the most helpful.
