No kidding!! I used to love summer - I promise to not complain about the cold this winter. (Substitute swear words where appropriate as that's what was really in my head. :-D )

Pretty sure I'll complain if it gets extremely cold too. Even though at the moment at 93 degrees and smoke hanging all over us I keep thinking nothing could be worse. Doing anything fun this week-end? Liz and I went to Walmart today and now home for the next 3 days. Maybe I'll be able to spend more time here as I feel like I haven't had enough play time lately. :-P

This weekend we're hoping to go to the farmer's market downtown. Otherwise I'm probably just relaxing. That weather sounds abysmal. 93 and smoke? Screw that, and I'm sorry you have to deal with it.

We walk our dogs everyday and today I wore an N95 mask. And we walked at 6:30 am. Ugh! Should clear out after tomorrow and temps coming back down. I hope

What's really weird is my Rottweiler sheds every spring but this summer every time it's gets crazy hot he starts shedding again. We may do a shorter walk tomorrow - the smoke is supposed to be gone Sunday. 🙏

The smoke was lighter today and they say the winds will change and it should be gone by tonight. We've had a few summers where it was bad for weeks so 2 days is nothing. Baby the Rottie, Scout the Yorkie, and Mac the Chi

I'll give them an extra love pat from you! :-) The Rottie is almost 12 and the Yorkie is around 15 or 16 so I got the Chihuahua so my heart won't hurt quite as much when one of them passes. The Rottie and the Yorkie are both awesome pups but the Chi is a bit of an a-hole. I'm pretty sure a previous human abused him but he has improved a lot in the 3 years we've had him.

Aww, thanks. I am glad the dogs are mostly sweet, and that the chi is getting better at being less of a little jerk. ;) :) I miss having pets.

I know it will hurt when the rottie passes big time and a lot when the yorkie passes too, but I'm pretty much done with pets - although, I'll probably be stuck with the Chi for a while. :-D I'm totally kidding and I do love him. And my daughter totally adores the little rascal.
