Ah the joys of remote living and an older computer.... Took a few cache clearing attempts, and finally a hard reset of the whole computer..., but now all images are showing up correctly.
Thanks for the report -- I'm taking a look at the highlight colors not showing up on the worn avatar, I think I've figured it out (it has to do with the hair having been used before, literally ever by you)
Will post again when I've got an update!

Alright, we're back! After some work together, and I were able to hopefully iron out the last remaining kinks.
Check it out on the staging site. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread, and 🤞🏼 merge this in tonight so that we can start making improvements on it once it's out.

Visual feedback: I'm still struggling with this. The white selection border on white squares is impossible to see. It's not immediately obvious what the first white square is for. I've made a mockup on how I think this can be improved:
- Letting a one pixel black border be between the color and the selection border
- Adding an X to the disable highlight square
In this example I've doctored row 1, to compare with how it currently is in row 2.
Other than that I'm not finding any major glitches, also I like the way that the main salon hair landing page looks. (Not sure what this is called... where all the hairs I own are lined up)

Yeah, like , that's throwing me for a loop as well. Maybe the 'reset' square could be a circle with an arrow (You know the kind...the loop has the arrow at the end) or a hover box that says 'reset'.
Other than that, really enjoying it.

🚀 WE HAVE DEPLOYED THE NEW SALON.
It does not include the visual indicator for the highlights, but you can save your avatar now with these new hairs. We'll be making some small tweaks and improvements over the next few days.

if i have issues with previously saved avatars using salon hair, do i post them here or in a topic in problems & bugs?
(i have one avatar specifically that just broke, and it's one of three made using the same salon style and saved during masq, so it's not related to my pre-wardrobe v2 broken saved salon hair problem)
[edit] well... i thought maybe it was a layer display issue so i hit wear on the broken avatar since the saved image was fine and now i think i'm broken

I too am brok'd for putting on highlights, but hey, at least I can see them in the salon! Progress!
Weird! I don't see the new salon on my end. I even restarted Chrome and cleared my cache. Still seeing the same old salon.

Hey everyone, we noticed a problem with the new salon after it was deployed, so we reverted it a few hours ago (very shortly after it was deployed). Sorry for the lack of communication haha, we were both in a rush in between day job stuff. We are working on fixing the issue and will ping again once it's fixed and deployed :)
[edit] I'm actually gonna ping for this, just for visibility. There was a short window of time when this glitch may have caused broken avatars, though we rolled back the new UX pretty quickly. For about 3 hours afterwards, saving avatars/outfits was also broken because of this same glitch with the deploy. We've now rolled everything back so you can save avatars/outfits again now and everything should be working as it was before. We apologize for the frustrations!
If your avatar is a broken image due to this glitch, go into the wardrobe and click on the 'X' to remove any hair layers on your avatar, and then wear it - that should fix the issue. In the meantime, Keith and I are investigating what went wrong with the deploy, and we'll keep you updated! You can let me know if you have any other questions about this. Thank you <3
