They are. One is from the '60s or '70s, one might be from the '50s or '60s and the other one is much older. I got two mini sewing machines for Christmas that are from the 1930s-1940s. I need to figure out how to display the new ones because my china hutch is full.
It is and the weather outside is crappy, so even more reason to stay inside and relax. I already played some Animal Crossing and had a birthday party with the residents on the island. Now I just need to figure out if I want to play Baldur's Gate 3 or Assassin's Creed Valhalla for the rest of the afternoon.
Since the last time I posted, we've gotten together two more times to play D&D. The first was when we hosted. We ended up doing the zoom call with Chris's little brother. The connection wasn't the greatest and the video kept freezing but the audio stayed consistent. Chris ended up rolling for his character and his brother's. The weekend after, we went to my brother-in-law's for our next session. The youngest couldn't make it again, but he didn't get to take part because he had decided to not do any homework, so his character was a ghost that just followed along. That gaming session ended up being one of our longest, we weren't done until 7:30 p.m. I ended up getting a pet Tressym and scared everyone by turning into a lion so that I could talk to the lions that were following us. We ended the session back at the ship so that we can return to the mainland. In May, we will have a friend join us to give D&D another go.

I had another sleepless night last Friday and then last night. No clue why I had such a hard time falling asleep either time.
I hope that Xena can find a good home too. We haven't gotten any further updates about her and I can't remember the name of the foster that took her. She could have ended up as a foster fail as well. Rehoming a pet is never fun, but if it can't get along with an infant, the pet has to go even if it's family. My biggest concern with Xena was if she would attack a small child because she has gone after smaller animals before.
I send cards to family and close friends, maybe some old co-works/bosses. I really slimmed down the list last year and it may get even shorter this year. I almost had an ex. There was a guy I was friends with for years, he started getting super friendly in texts. We went bowling on his birthday and then later that night he cornered me just so he could kiss me...then expected me to kiss him again. He let me decide if we dated and I said no.
There's a fish toy on Amazon that I want to get because it flops around and isn't just a stationary toy, but I'm not sure if my three will like it. Oh man, I'd hate having to track down diamond dots. I already had to hunt down a few that fell off the table.
We're sticking with neutral colors. Our office and hallway are Saxon Gray. The bedroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen are Ravens Wing (dark gray). Still haven't decided what color the bathrooms will be. The carpet in the living room is so disgusting now that I know there are spots everywhere. I have no clue how far down it's seeped, but we do plan to rip out the carpet and replace it with vinyl flooring at some point.
I never have a calendar around, so it's easier to just track periods on my phone. It seems like there are more new streaming services popping up now too, like Discovery+ and Paramount+. I think I'll subscribe to Discovery+ because it's a decent price and there are quite a few shows that I watch offered.
Positive for the day: A friend that I haven't spoken to in over a year, messaged me to wish me happy birthday and asked if I wanted to hang out sometime soon. She owns that diner in town that I worked at for two years and the final year things didn't end super well because she and her mom took issue with me taking off work for three weeks to help with harvest. I was worried that working together ruined/ended our friendship but we'll be hanging out next weekend.
I wonder if they will restart the snowballs since the shop is still open and we need to work on that achievement.

Oh deff! The weather here can not make up its mind at all. Last week it got up to 60 and not it is back down to 20. Very annoying. Tough choice.
OMG Emily would love that. She is obsessed with lions. She would turn everything into a lion if she could lol. It is great that you guys have something to do that you all enjoy :)

Yeah it really is. Thankfully I have only had to do it the one time. Luckily our dog ended up with a retired man who had plenty of time to devote to her. Oh that is really scary.
My list is non existent lol. Wow I don't blame you for saying no. For some reason it just gave off all kinds of red flags.
Cats can be so dang picky! We think we are getting them the best thing ever and they just sorta stare at it and walk away lmao! Dogs are easier. They pretty much love everything! Ugh and if you have carpet it is so much worse. I hate the sound of vacuuming stuff like that up.
I had to google the colors. Those are really pretty! Ugh I really hope you get to replace it soon. Sounds terrible :( There is only so much a cleaner can do.
Everyone has a freakin streaming service now. Pretty soon that is all we are going to have!!

I have the snowball shop open in a separate tab and still buying them to stash in my vault in case someday they remember to restart it. Hope they're just waiting for all the strains to complete.

And that's after throwing a ton of snowballs during the big snowball fight a while back, couple years ago? Buying them 1 at a time & throwing with a time limit, it will take many years to get the achievement.
