Yeah sadly cat mechanics don’t usually make as much as they should with having to deal with what they have to deal with. Aircraft are a much different story luckily. Relative easy to work on due to being such a safe design and less likely to get messed up by someone else’s incompetence.

How many skins has everyone gotten this survival?

I got Delicate, Pointy, Blistering Hearts, Stinging, and right now I have Naughty Nip.

I might get Metalmorphosis if there's still time cause I like the stages for that one.

Next year I'll start with another vial, so I can see the new strains progression before choosing one.

I've gotten Magical, Grainy, Delicate, Lobster Face, currently getting Brain Rot and I'll get Pointy after it's over since I should have gotten it but the glitch meant it didn't go into my wardrobe. I should with the extra day have time for one more. Thinking either eyesore or footrash for the last. If not one of those then hivemind.

How do the vials like stinging work now? Do you still use the vials or does it work like a regular zombie strain with biting for infection? If so then I might get stinging.

Apparently both? You can buy the vial itself and immediately get infected or pay for the strain at VIP and have people bite you to get it.

VIP is cheaper, though. Stinging vial was 6 million when I checked.

Stinging is the virus labeled "armor" at the VIP, just letting you know!

Good to know for next year. I have multiples of all the vials in my hoard so that's not a problem. The two 'worth' the most are the only ones I'd ever be likely to get.

I got all the new ones plus Clusterflux and I'm working on Pinkie Patch now. I think I'll ask for Death Slug if we can ask for any of them and not just the new ones when Survival is done.

Does anyone know how I get the skin The Rift?

I think you can only ask for one of the new ones. I believe The Rift is random from the rift. I don't even visit the rift anymore so forgot it was a thing until I searched for the where the skin comes from.

Where did you find it? I looked all over. Maybe I didn't ask the right question. lol I still do the Rift everyday. I can't believe it hasn't given it to me yet. Although it still hasn't thrown me into the Rift, and maybe that's when it does it? I still want that ach.

Which skins are you meaning? There are three types of skins. Survival skins, Zapper skins (morostide), and the special random skins (Lace from subeautique, Flameo from the bonfire and The Rift from the rift).

I googled it lol, and it took me to the wiki and then the subetawiki linked me to the news post for the rift and it seemed the consensus there.

Go to the biting thread - current one is HERE, and find the ping group in the opening post for the strain you want and ping them asking for bites. You'll be added to the bite list and people that already have that strain will bite you and you'll get infected quickly.

All of those are zapper skins. The human zapper is only available during Morostide in October.

I thought I signed up for Pinkie Patch, but when I asked for bites Asunay told me I signed up for a different one. How do I find out which one?

I don't know. I don't know if you can. I couldn't find any information. Maybe ask in the survival FAQ thread?

Since you don't have an infection if you pay for the one you want it should overwrite your current 'pick'. Then you should be able to get bitten and not have to cure (I think that's what the FAQ says).

I couldn't find out either, but someone on the forum told me it was Deathslug. I remember trying to decide between the two, but I would have sworn I chose Pinkie Patch! lol Oh well, I apologized to those that tried to bite and sent a ping to the others. All is good.

Bubblejelly gets my vote. It's such a unique skin!

I chose Metalmorphosis as my final strain because the stages are cool. :)
