I feel ya. I've been carving the same Chelon or Lain pumpkins, and getting the same gummy pustules lol. I've resorted to buying some pumpkins because I was getting impatient in completing my collection.

The cold was OK but to look out my window and see that snow falling and sticking was amazing to me for October. Can't believe we broke records that far back.

I like having a modern smart phone for when I need to look up something while I'm out. Weather, traffic, addresses. Otherwise I use very few of the functions. Know little about it. Didn't even text for the longest time. Barely do it now ('cause I always write a book).

Glad you got your errands done before the snow. So early for snow. I am not ready for snow at all. Of course, I probably never am.

We're under a wind advisory today. And the temperature will be dropping all day long. Only 46 for a high tomorrow. But back tot he 60s by Wednesday. Will see how long that lasts.

Just glad I could finally talk myself into going outside as I only had enough meds for that night and I really needed a flu shot plus I hadn't shopped since 9/14. Thank God I have meals on wheels, that takes care of half my meals. Now I need to learn to use the Crock Pot / Pressure Cooker I got recently as I'm planning on making great soups once again in my life like I did half a life time ago.

Soup is awesome. Especially in winter. I put a crock pot/cooker thing on my WL. Maybe one Christmas I'll get one. :) That's a good long time between going out. I'm happy if I can skip a week. Only manage that on a rare occasion I'm actually organized. With winter coming though I am going to have to try to be better organized with the shopping. Will want to venture out into the world even less often. Especially with so many people getting super lazy with their mask wearing.

Looked at all the instapot thingies and finally got the crock pot express crock mini multi-cooker 4 quart - black. One side for slow cooking and the other for pressure cooking. For $60 I thought it was a good deal now I need to find out. Got a couple of recipe books for it and one of the cookbooks has 1 recipe per page cooked both ways. I like the groupings in the list of things you can make.

Time to pop in here again. Did my plasma donation again. It takes over an hour, but I have the time. Got to read. Doing some last minute morostide stuff.

I get the mask angst from both sides. When I did my donation today the person taking my pulse had to have me remove my mask for a bit and take deep breaths to get it down enough, but having had Covid I really wish people would wear theirs.

If you could see the prepared foods from the cookbooks that this thing can make, is awesome! You can tell I'm a senior because I just figured out that I don't need Peacock to get Saturday Night Live from the beginning. Thought that Sling allowed us to pick favorites to view of only old things but no - now I can watch SNL along with 3rd Rock From the Sun and Ray Bradbury Theater. SNL came out in 1975 and I was 26, this was my favorite show from that era and I just started watching it from the beginning, so far I've seen the first four shows and I'm over the moon happy - so bovine!

Anyone else ever find an expensive item, get excited about how much currency you'll earn from selling, but have your hopes dash when it doesn't sell?

The new experiments are nice though. I might get the ghost fox and spider.

I also wanted to get new skins, but it's hard to tell if you got a new skin with the new wardrobe... So that was another hope dashed.

Looked at the weather earlier. After a couple weeks of cool, clouds, and rain we have a week of sunshine, mostly, and temps going back into the 70s. Crazy for November in Ohio.

I got all the items I needed. I meant to battle with my 2nd battle pet but completely forgot. Don't think I did all the battles on my main either. Don't remember.

I have a few items in my vault that others have for sale for a lot of sP but no one on subeta has them on their WL or if they do they don't actually play anymore. lol I guess they will just remain in my vault forever.

I didn't get the skins this year. Couldn't be bothered. I believe you can pay extra to be guaranteed a skin you didn't have. If they kept it the same as last year.
