Sweet and salty snacks are my favorite, honestly. Kettle corn? I've literally eaten myself sick on the stuff. And then went back for more the next day. I shouldn't really consume actual chocolates anymore, but sea salt dark chocolate, I'd totally be willing to eat it, consequences be damned. Used to be when I ate M&Ms, my favorite thing to do was dip an edge in kosher salt; my mum thought I was bats, but it was SO. GOOD. Cinnamon sugar on salted soft pretzels is also pretty high up on my list of favorite occasional snack-y pleasures.

Sweet or salty snacks? Sweet snacks sadly. I like to alternate but damn, I do have a sweet tooth.

February30th Thanks for the ping - the outfit looks great! It really suits your HA! Seems like you have most of the tools a mechanic should have minus the toolbox of course

Atomic What is Zelda like? Did Zelda know Maggie? I do love hearing stories about people and their dogs/pets.

It has taken me time and counseling to really deconstruct my feelings about... well, life I guess. Life is full of so many possibilities and potential but you can't take all paths and you can't go back. We can only move forward and that is the unfortunate thing. I find that what helps me most is addressing the underlying thought process that are leading to negative feelings and rumination about the past. In getting to here, I tried lots of different types of therapy to find what works best for me because it is different for everyone. What works best with how I think and perceive the world would be Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. It name sounds corny, and I am struggling to describe it but its about learning to hold things lightly while slowly working towards what I value. It aims to develop psychological flexibility. But again, it is different for everyone and it may not be relevant for you. Tell me if you want me to smail you - I can elaborate more on how I gotten to be okay with myself and where I am, but it would be a much longer message 😅 so I understand if you would prefer not to.

Yeah with Sliding Doors its rom-com aspect is a main criticism of reviews but damn, I do love rom-coms sometimes. I find them comforting because they have easy solutions. I haven't seen the Butterfly Effect either, I read the spoilers though 😝 It sounds like an anime my sister keeps trying to convince me to watch called Erased. If you ever watch the Butterfly Effect, tell me how you find it!

Ooooh I like the idea of the snacks being a potential murder weapon and the guests would have to figure out which one. Will definitely share any more ideas - I am waaaaay to invested in this (potential) murder mystery party already!

You know it sounds like you have the double no-taster genotype which is super lucky. Damn, I didn't even know there were bitter cucumbers. How do you eat them?? Like would they go in sandwiches or be pickled?

I think both, but it depends on my mood. I really love sweets, but salty things are a must too. Like nori chips and Swedish fish.

I try not to snack. But if there’s snacks around, I get so tempted by sweets. Sugar is so addicting, but I’d rather eat salty bc I don’t want a go down a long sugar craving road

Ah I don't watch movies that often, but I guess one movie I never get tired of is Paulie. It's one of my favorite movies from my childhood haha. Recently watched it with my son and he really liked it too.

Today's question:

Did you have any New Year's resolutions?

If anyone has more random question ideas, please feel free to share them with me <3 Don't forget to join the official ping group below :)

My personal answer: First of all: I'M BAAAAAACK! I just finished my exam period (literally 2 hours ago, my last exam finished) and except for an oral exam a week from now I'm finally free. I have been absent for nearly a month and really only got online to have a look at which new CWs were released. Now I have to get back to sending out lumi gifts which I wasn't able to send before lumi... I even wrote down all the names on a separate note but wasn't able to tic off all the names :( Anyways, I hope you guys had the most wonderful Luminaire and a happy New year. I missed you guys and hope that we can continue where we left off <3

Ok now to the question: I didn't have any New Year's resolutions because I don't want to feel like I failed myself for quitting so I don't start to begin with 😂 I'm kinda being swept along by a friend's New Year's resolution though. She wanted to workout at least 3 times a week so that's what we've been doing together now. It's actually between 6-7 day a week for us because I use it in the evening after studying to get some excercise after sitting at the desk all day. It's been really nice and if you do it as frequently as that you can feel major improvement even after as little as a week or two. And it's good to have that social interaction as well. Of course we only do it via facetime but it's still really nice to have a little chat with a friend like that every day.

Welcome back Minty! I bet that felt wonderful to finish your exams, congratulations :)

I did not set any New Years resolutions either, I have goals already set for myself that I just plan to continue working on.

Do I have any stickers you need in your gallery? Check here, send me a message and I'll stick it to ya!

Did you have any New Year's resolutions?

Me and my boyfriend are living together and studying IT to become developers. For this year we hope to finish our studies and get good jobs so we can feel safe and dream even higher. I also promised to be more honest with my feelings and to put more effort into making/keeping friends!

Nope! I've never been one for setting resolutions at the new year. The way I see a lot of people around me go about it is just all wrong and kind of sets them up for failure because they only set really BIG goals to achieve when, ideally, they should just set small, attainable things while working towards something bigger. So instead of "make big resolution one time a year and always be disappointed at the end of the year because I didn't set small goals to keep up," I just continuously set small things to achieve so I can feel accomplished all through the year. (Which is a big thing for me, I get discouraged super easily, so I need to focus a lot on small things to keep me afloat some days.) One of my current small goals revolves around my crafting, though~ I got yarn as a gift for the holidays/my birthday, so my first goal was to find a pattern to use some of it with (which I did! Yay for borrowing ebooks from my library!), and then to complete the project (though I'm only about halfway through it right now, something came up in a game I play that I'm trying to achieve, and it's time-limited, haha~). My back-burner goal once I DO finish this, though, is to make a new hat to show off to my friends; I mentioned maybe making a moogle hat for myself to them, and they got excited, so now I really want to do it!

I don't make resolutions.

Congratulations about your finishing, my next semester begins next Friday This time I will be taking Suspension and Steering. And also an evening shop, since I took my bloody time to register.

Things won't be the same for me now, a recent tragedy struck my family. My mother passed away on Dec 28, and were waiting for our turn to make funeral arrangements amidst the long line courtesy of the COVID deaths. Me and my siblings are making our best efforts to pull through.

Old, and obsolete.

I don't bother with New Year's resolutions. Every day I strive to be/do my best anyway, so there's not much more I can "resolve" to do.

Today's question:

How is your home decorated?

If anyone has more random question ideas, please feel free to share them with me <3 Don't forget to join the official ping group below :)

My personal answer: I chose today's question because I'm currently living with my parents again. I moved back into my childhood bedroom. They used it as a guest room up until I came back but it kinda resembled a storage unit to be quite honest so I decided to make it more 'me' and throw out lots of junk (I found things which I had since I was a baby) and now I even started decorating it. I put up all my Mucha art prints again and my giant map of the world and pinned the places I've been to before. I added some candles, my lava lamp, lots of gem stones and crystals, art made by friends for me, fairy lights and photos. Now I guess I am fully moved in again and it feels like a place where I can relax and feel at peace at.
Thank you! <3 What kind of goals if I may ask? :)
for cubriqui That sounds wonderful! My fingers are crossed that you get to finish studying this year and that you both find wonderful and fun jobs! :)
for February30th I am so sorry! My thoughts and wishes are with you and your siblings! I can only imagine how hard it must be for you to go through this right now. If you want to talk about it: I'm here for you!
for queenspazzy That is probably a really smart way to go about this whole setting goals thing. Small little successes are usually really good for us so I think in the long run, your method will probably prove to be more beneficial. :) I think finding good patterns is soooo difficult! o: I am glad though that you managed to find something suitable :) And I had to Google what a moogle is first but I'm sure it will turn out to be an adorable hat!
for sensuous Thank you <3 love your resolutions! I've been really trying my hand at using only pieces of clothing of mine to create something new and it's been so much fun. I can highly recommend it. It's really been challenging me to get creative
for turokai That is amazing! I have so much respect for people who have the intrinsic motivation to constantly push themselves :)

My decorating style has been described as Addams family meets Calamity Jane... It's sort of a fantasy Halloween 365 day of the year, set in an old west theme.., if the old west had dragons.

I'm gonna call it an organized mess. Not clutter...but some things would look outta place to other people. An example of this is: I have two computers in the dining room (one on a desk and a laptop with a monitor and mouse on the dining table or floor when not in use) for my kids to attend online learning.
