No a/c yesterday and I overdid on the dairy and sugar and wheat. Good mood but felt AWFUL. Couldn't get comfortable. Ugh. They just told me I HAVE to work on Sunday and I do not want to! If I refuse and they don't rehire me next year that will be a major hassle. I can only be so flexible though. It seems no matter how great I am with the kids, how helpful I am to the other TAs, the test is going to be if I do what they want. And I am not sure how to flat out refuse without getting into trouble. They are so use to me bending to their demands and I have been resisting lately. Acquiescing is what got me into the mess I was in December and I don't want to revisit that. Ever notice how refuse (say no) and refuse (garbage) are spelled the same?!?!?!

Yeah, I didn't think that one through. I know some folks get a bit edgy when they get too many pings.... No AC?! Yikes! I would pass out! I know what you mean about saying "no". It gets to be a double edged sword. I mean, you need to work, but you need to be alive and in relative good health to do so. They keep asking you to overextend, and don't seem to get/have a clue that you are near the end of your rope. Healthy boundaries in the work place are vital, I always had a problem with that early in my career. Said yes to everything, every demand. Then I got sicker, and had to stop, I learned to say no, even tho I hated to. Not easy tho!

Hi again guys! Thanks to everyone for checking in on me and sending me good wishes! The migraine ended up lasting this entire week, but I did get to do some questing today. The Major didn't give anything good, but Saggitarius and Carl both gave me a Morty Card!

Hopefully it's gone now and I'm back to normal over here! I've missed chatting and questing!

Kitties are so cute!!! I have 2 wild pregnant strays that come by to eat. Frustrates me that they hiss at me and still come to eat, and I know I won't get to play with their little ones. The one will probably let them die, as she has with most of the others. What you said about boundaries and Work... sigh....

Found four of the small Onyx ones a few nights ago, haven't seen any of the other small ones, but I am still stalking like mad! lol I am STILL on the hunt for a Cintrine large one, but I REFUSE to buy one for $25 million. shaking head Do you want one of the small Onyx ones? I still have one in my vault. I gave the others away, and put one in my wardrobe, just in case they make an achievement out of these nutty things.

I would love one of the small ones! It's good to know they exist! 😆 I did see the one for sale, and my thought was "well, I guess they've restocked once, then!" I'll keep on the look out for us all then, for the other colors of the little ones.
