I made 3 that go over the ears but I am ready to try something else. Over the head looks like it will be more comfortable over time. We had a young man staying with us for a year and he used to sit outside and all the cats got used to being picked up and handled (the ones that were friendly) but no one sits outside and lifts them up anymore and most of them reverted to not liking to being picked up. It's a shame. I liked that about them. Also that they didn't hiss when being showed affection. My allergies pretty much keep me from engaging too long and now even some of the friendly ones hiss. :(

I would have LOVED working in the High School! My major in Education centered around Juvenile (teen) studies. I work in a school that goes from 1-4. Our principal tried to start a revolution to change the school systems to elementary (1-4th grade), Middle school (5-8), High School (9-12) but it only took in our community. She is retiring this year so the movement pretty much ended.

Hi Judy! Hope you are doing better! I understand about the allergies. Cats are a big no no for me, and so we don't have any in the house. However, it is difficult for me to not love on them when they come right up to me. So I deal with the issues, albeit uncomfortable. Take an extra puff from the inhaler, or do an extra nebulizer....LOL I really have to limit the time I am with them tho, or it becomes overload....yeesh.
