Yes those beads are part of a kit that I am making for teens. You know the Altoids tins? I cover those with polymer clay, add a design of some sort, and then fill the tin with beads, findings, etc. Enough to make your own bracelet, pendant, necklace, earrings, or whatever. Then I donate those full tins to pediatric wards in hospitals, nursing homes, foster care, etc. The clay company provides the clay free of charge since this is a charity project. It has been very rewarding.

Glad that work is settling down for you! You may have a completely new "normal" by the time all this over!

I spent a good part of yesterday making new passwords. It's always scary to me; I worry I won't get one random enough! Good grief! That's a lot of amulets!

About ten years ago or so, when the iPod touch and the iPhone were still pretty new, I had a job with a gaming blog that was expanding to include those types of games. I was given the game for free, and $5 for reviewing the game. It was a lot of fun. I didn't do it for too long because real life ran away with me at that time, but I did enjoy it!

Yes, I've been enjoying some Holmesian entertainment tonight! 😆 Hope you've had a good evening! I think that's awesome that you've found your artistic niche in clay and with such a rewarding project! I've thrown pots once, back in college, and loved it. I still have them and love them. They, um, they have. . . character. Yes, that's what one could say about them. . . 😆

laughing at 's jokes again

Yay! You won this time!

Have you been able to visit with your adorable grandson during all this mess?

You fling your into the rift trying not to hit anyone haha 😉 and a moment of calm is followed by a flash of red lightning, before the rift shoots out

ROFL I tried earthen clay, but my projects never reached their full potential.....SNORT. They also had some uhhhhh character. LOL

- I really enjoy doing projects like that. I do mostly commission work, and juried shows now, but when I get a chance, I fill about 50-75 of those orders a month. It really gives me a chance to help kids. I was in the hospital most of my childhood, and I know how boring it can get, even with school, well meaning staff, etc. It is one of the reasons I went into the field of nursing. Fills my heart it does!

, Hi, So funny when the dogs throw tantrums just like children when they don't want to leave haha! It's so cute. 'The Flop' 'The stiffening' legs straight and not walking, 'The Leash Lunge' I think that's how they shame us. Make us look awkward and weird, and the 'Sassy' Noo Noo Noo, don't whanna owww' We just end up cry laughing and giving '5 more minutes!' In Dog time that's like... half an hour?

Shall catch up soon Ps: I will EDIT my fung the dung, if the tree gifts me one. I'm all out of

Wow! How rewarding career you had! Back breaking and difficult do not begin to describe that career. Not to mention the fact that people do not realize that NA's and CNA's are THE backbone of the healthcare industry. I mean it takes a team, but wow!
I am a neonatal nurse practitioner, and started out as a pediatric oncology nurse. I worked 28 years before I had to medically retire. I did a few weeks of telehealth ER triage this month, but I just don't have the energy right now, even for that. I miss it every single day. It was my calling, my passion. However, I am fortunate that I can still consult on cases if needed, and that is rewarding in itself. :)
♥♥ Gentle hugs to you!! ♥♥

Oh, that's great! I know you have such fun with him! I admire you and for working in the medical field! I was Medical Records Director for a nursing home for two years, and I know just how hard CNAs and RNs work!

I got St. John when he was so young he still needed milk, so he bonded with me as milk-giver. I've never worked since I have had him, so HATES it when I leave the house. He is so spoiled! This 18 pound tomcat will run up and down the hall and cry like a baby, and literally bounce off the wall. He starts when I get in the shower. If I come out of the shower with outside clothes on, he quits crying and goes off to pout. He is a mess!

WoW! look at you as I said before your amazing. It takes that special someone to be able to do what you do.I'm so happy you got to work with children.I know you are fantastic at doing it too. It's nice that you can "still consult on cases if needed" I understand about not having the energy My Friend ❤ Hugss Thank You so much I was CNA with a team of an RN & LPN. It was backbreaking but I love it. I ended up going to central supply because of the lifting of patients a lot of times by myself.I wasn't sure how long my back would take it. I miss it also.I worked about 3 years in central supply that's when I got very sick & had to leave.
Enjoy your dinner. I'd love to see a photo. Hugss :D

I bet your patients just loved you! It really does take someone special to have that close connection and hard work, and continue to come in day after day. I am so sorry you had to stop doing what you love. Being chronically ill can be so frustrating, and lonely at times. Grieving that livelihood lost is so important. It is definitely a process. ♥

I am glad that you have improved! A long road! You sound kind of like me. All my docs want me to go to Mayo to try and figure out the new stuff going on, but that won't be happening anytime soon. It is beyond frustrating not knowing, and I am sorry you are in a similar situation.

: My Author Mark, is a retired Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner with 39 years experience in Intensive care. He held a NRP card for 28 of those years and worked regularly in the NICU. It was his favorite part of the job. He would be working now, during this crisis, except that 39 years of 12 shifts on the weekends and 29 concurrent years of teaching public high school chemistry and physics wore out his hips and knees. He spends his retirement years writing and taking the roll of grandpa taxi.

Hi!! Hope everyone had a great day! :)

Yes! Never too late for Halloween! I can’t wait for another Moro :) so fun TPing houses

Kros has had excellent luck with the rift lately! He flung the dung 3(?) times and got serpent scales! :0

!!! Is it the third time you’ve gotten a serpent scale from the dung? xD

Read back the chat! You guys are awesome for the patients you’ve helped. And Cute that is so sweet with the charity you’ve been helping ❤️ I don’t think nurses get enough recognition for how hard they work so THANK YOU!

Edit: You tossed your into the rift and a moment of calm is followed by a flash of red lightning, before the rift shoots out !

Kiss me like you wanna be loved.

Life is precious.

Yeah, I think the Rift has a thing for scaly things.....LOL How are you feeling? Still progressing? ❤HUGS❤

Aye aye aye! That's a lot of standing! I look at my legs, and see those varicose veins from all those years of walking cement floors....yeesh. Yes, NICU has always been my favorite. I have a taped recording my mama made of when I was 4. She asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said, "I wanna be the one to take the babies to the new mama's." Oh boy! LOL I have worked in many areas over the years, but the 15 years with the NICU was the most humbling, and rewarding for sure. :) 💞💞💞

CORGI! Howdy there! Been SOOOO busy today, didn't get a chance to peruse SL for sticky stickums. Be ready tomorrow at some point to get stuck!! giggle giggle Ohhhhh or maybe now.....I could just slip over there for a mo mo.....hmmmm runs out of the room
