Goody, I have a job for tomorrow. A friend of friend needs some urgent work on his car's brakes. What he described sounded catastrophic, his brakes slowly wouldn't stop at all. We imagined a ruptured line. The problem though is that the bolts that held the caliper broke off, which allowed the caliper to nearly come off completely. The plunger was out of it's socket, which meant the fluid leaked out. This is an easier job to do, but still expensive.

So tomorrow morning I'm to load up and await a call from this guy. We're forced to work where the car is parked. I believe I'm going to get the car drivable, to get it back to the person's apartment.

This means some extra cash for my send off the next weekend.

So, wedding was Friday morning. VERY nice. Some people there may have been sick, others didn't come, My son flew to Brazil Saturday night. I sort of freaked out today and took 2 days off.

Knowing the job is done with the expected results also gives me a sense of accomplishment. This person knew enough to trust my friend's recommendation. He lacked the appropriate tools, but not the basic knowledge of the job.

One day left to review my homework before finals are closed. Next step is registering for next semester.

Okay, I have annoying students so I made a last ditch effort to grab their attention. I have three students that, for some reason, the free wifi hotspots provided to them don't work. So I've been doing home visits delivering paper lessons. This family is one of those that the kids will lose their heads if they weren't attached. So! To lessen the risk of them losing interest in the lessons and 'misplacing' them in two seconds, I did something different this time.

I made extra copies of all the lessons (because they lost their workbooks), gave examples for each problem set with color-coded ink, put their names on each page so they wouldn't get mixed up, printed the main lesson plan on bright colored paper, and provided new, colorful freshly sharpened pencils.

Who wants to bet they call the school asking for another copy because they lost it? Again?! sigh

Sounds like me when I was in school. I would do my homework and put it my bag, but next morning it was mysteriously gone.

WOW!! That is going above and beyond! I love teachers!! I still am in contact with two of my high school instructors, and am great friends with them. Amazing people, teachers! Thank you, for being such an awesome one!
