yeah :/ and omg it was horrible... thanks hun -tickles- not much nuts to go right? J/k. Seriously though I bet it's a nightmare. -squishes-
Nods Yeah. With schools (one being a medical student), things are literally hour-to-hour updates in some cases.
Bahahahahahaha ❤️
I would've thought the same about the tight muscle honestly. But I'm glad surgery is going to help prevent the other issues!
right? Well guess I can still be proud of the weight loss and pleased the doctor saw what I didn't before it was too late. Yeah, me too. It's expensive but well worth it if you ask me.
How you doin?
Exactly - you were already doing what you needed to do to give yourself an easier time and and the doctor paid attention and caught this before it got any worse ❤️
I'm okay, exhausted by work.
-nods- And I'm thankful in an odd way for the ulcered callus. If I hadn't had it, I'd not have know. Though at that appointment it was way jarring as I went for simple and got news that lead to major surgery. I've moved to a better place about it but then it was just way too overwhelming.
YOu normally are -snugs- Is your classes and work going to be affected by the virus yet? I know some of CA is cracking down on things. And the cdc has told no gatherings of 50 people or more... so wondering about the auctions
Yeah, that's definitely a strange way to find out something so important, but also really good that it led to finding out.
I'm done with school so no more classes for me. As of now, my work is remaining open and we'll be having our sale this week, but that could change depending on if they enforce the no more than 50 people in one place rule or not (my boss is trying to let folks know we can't have more than 50 in the building but he's failing to think about all of the employees and also the president just said no more than 10-20 so who knows). My county hasn't force closed anything but LA is done with everything non-essential unless it's takeout capable. And further north San Francisco and 5 other surrounding counties are on full lockdown unless you absolutely must go to the pharmacy/doctor/store - everything is forcibly shut down and people are under a "shelter in place" order =/
A bit, yeah. But everyone all around is sorta dealing with a version of it.
How are you doing ?
I'm tired from work - my gram isn't coming in because she's 79 and they're recommending people her age stay home so we're short. We'll be short tomorrow too because another coworker is sick and will also not be coming in. How's you?
Yeah and thankfully we had the funds to do it with the sale of the old home.
I thought you said you were done with school lol but you know vicadin so wasn't sure if I was not thinking clearly or not. Man. It's so crazy. Very scary and uncertain times.
very true. Its really surreal.
That was also good fortune, I'm glad you didn't have to stress on how to pay. And no worries! I sometimes feel weird that I'm not in school still haha. And yeah, it's super stressful. I literally cannot afford for my job to close unless they actually pass the thing to give us all $1000 and also...like...give it to us.
yeah for sure! lol I don't blame you. It felt weird to me when I stopped going too. Yeah, that was one reason I asked because I was thinking about how you could do it and worrying. What's the $1000 thing?
There's now bipartisan support for giving every adult citizen in America $1000 universal basic income to try and help stop the crashing of the market. Like...that will help me pay bills and would cover me for the two weeks we would be closed for if they mandate closure until the end of the month, but I'd need it in my pocket right away to do any good.
Oh that would really be a wonderful thing for the ecomomy-- and super helpful for you and me. I could benifit from the money to try to actually get my sewing on etsy to get some income--plus my other leg is another $2100 or something.
Yeah - I tried to support folks who were in favor in general of a universal basic income because it would mean so much more freedom for people like us to get our lives improved but it's so hard to get those people elected =/
I do hope they pass this bill they're all talking about though so we can get some relief to help at least through the pandemic.
Yeah it always seems the things that would hit the people who need it never seem to wind up going through.
I really hope so too. We've had to buy more than we wanted/expected as have many people due to the pandemic.
Ain't that the truth :(
so, do you have plans to stay sane during the social distancing?
I mean, I'm mostly doing the same as normal - I'm poor so I don't go out much to begin with haha. I'm still seeing my best friend and my boyfriend as of now. If we get shelter in place I'm not sure how that's going to work.
