That is a pretty happy subject ;)
Mmmhmmm. He has such nice assets :)
hope you are both doing well. Leg is still itching and im moisturising as best i can. But my mood has been really low. I just... idk... sighs
So... Now would be a bad time to dump fire ants into your cast...
I hope everyone has been well and safe. I've been taking a break from everything really because I've been having a hard time. The stay at home order for the past month has just wrecked havoc on my mental health :( But I'm slowly doing better, and pulling myself up <3
He has all of them nods
I don't blame you at all, it's a hard time right now - even without the added stress of a cast leg hugs
Do whatever you can to keep taking care of yourself hugs
yeah. You’d think I’d be in a better mood but I’m not. I’m on the verge of tears and way stressed. I got my cast removed today as it was cracking and apparently was going to be removed on Wednesday anyway. But it was so stressful being in there. There were too many people for my liking, even with my homemade mask. Then I had to have hydrotherapy on my leg which I HATED. I don’t like feet. I’ve seen athlete’s foot. It’s disgusting. Especially with these nasty posters in the office with foot diseases. So sitting in this uncomfortable chair with your legs in this metal basin (which for all I know could have nickel in) waiting awfully long wanting it to be over with so I get the HELL out and disinfect. It was awful. I had to walk with the boot as I didn’t know I’d be getting the cast off. It hurts to walk on my foot with the hard floor under it so I had to put shoes on… I’m just… not in a good way. Not the way I wanted to celebrate my cast coming off. At least he put an alcohol spay on my leg before the soft cast. How goes it for you. these are tough times
Yeah - I'm definitely stressed whenever I have to get even close to a doctor's office lately so I don't blame you. And I am super uncomfortable generally sharing foot anything with strangers, especially in a place where foot disease is being treated, so I can't blame you there either. The only consolation I can offer to any of that is that the metal basin is made out of surgical steel. They can't use things with nickle or anything like that for medical supplies because of the risk of contamination - so it's generally highly sanitized and already in a low infection risk metal for that reason alone (hopefully that will help to remember when they do the other leg). I'm glad he did the spray for you as well.
I'm doing...okay. There's a lot of stressors here (old boss' wife is really dying now, still haven't really fully dealt with my uncle being gone, have lost several people now actually since the start of the year, stress at being home and worrying about what will happen when the federal help runs out and we're still on lockdown etc). I'm trying to focus on the things I can do and control as much as possible to help with that. Hopefully things will start to get better soon for us all hugs
Inches closer with them
I'm so sorry you're having such a rough time :( I hope you're back to well soon. ❤️ I know how hard it can be.
I am upset I can't post a gif from That Scene from Not Another Teen Movie.
Hahahaha, yeah, I know exactly which one you mean xD
Yeah the doc office is rather scary to be there right now. Yeah I think you’re right on the surgical steel :) so thast’s a good thing. I’m definitely hurting right now. Foot is not happy. The heal part hurts stepping on it. My head is pounding and I feel… like a deflated balloon LOL
Snugs I can understand how that would be difficult. Even just one of those is difficult.
you do and I'll get tongue pictures for you
Yeah, I can imagine the discomfort is going to be high after having the cast and then being expected to walk on the now very sensitive skin and bone :( Hopefully you can readjust quickly and get at least some of the discomfort gone soon.
yeah it feels like walking on my foot. And I didn't know the doctor was used an adhesive bandage. I'm allergic to adhesive so i broke out in a rash. Doc's given me some meds so hopefully it calms down.
Oh ouch :( I have issues with the adhesive on most bandages too and I know how irritating and awful it is until the rash goes away - moreso when you have to have something over it too.
It really isn't. And it's newer for me - I used to have no issues (or if I did, they were always so mild I never noticed) but the last couple years it's been really bad =/
One of the best honestly.
