the ac is a no go. We're at temps of 90f and simply feelign ill. The house doesn't cool until 2am. I had to call someone to come in tomorrow to look at it. He has instructions to wear a mask, shoe covers and gloves and I'll disinfect everything he's near once he leaves. THere's nothing for it. IT's not even peak heat here so something must be done. :/
I mean, every night would be amazing but I'm trying to be realistic.
I'm sorry it won't sort itself but I'm glad you've got an appointment set. It's definitely too hot in Georgia to be trying to survive without the AC. I hope it can be fixed quickly at least ❤️
I would love full sleeps tho.
Hot and tired haha. I napped for a bit and now I have to get redressed.
Yeah it so sucks :/ its 90 today. Not even in the summer. God we are misserable in here. Ac has a fault in the line. Rather than digging the line up, they're gonna run a new one in the attic and are coming back tomorrow. I'm wanting AC SOOOO badly!!! I wish we had a pool.
BUT, because the time for the ac was during my doc appointment, I called and they told me if I don't want hydrotherapy I am welcome to take the bandage off and come in on monday. I can drive, shower and SHAVE!! I've done the latter too :D I'm so happy to be hair and cast free!
Ugh yeah :( It's been in the 90s here during the day as well, and then freezing at night. We can't bring out our portable AC because my dad is doing work from home and is sitting right next to where it has to go, and it's too loud, so I feel you.
I'm glad you were able to get the bandage off and get back to a little bit of normal though! That's great news :)
Oh, nice.
Yeah, this sudden heat is annoying.
Oh, that is nice though.
I got to hold one of my newest nephews (cousin had twins but I only held the one because his sister was a fussy face - also we call them my nieces and nephews because it's easier and also we all grew up close). It was worth getting overheated and having to leave my house for. He just slept, through noise and being shifted between his dad and his aunts.
He's very chill. His sister is more fussy but also like...she's not as goof of a eater so that's why, because she's more hungry lol
Aha, I wonder if that will stay as their personalities as they grow.
Probably not. My cousin made a good point, the other twins parents she talks to say one always seems fussier but that's because you unconsciously compare them to each other. If she only had Emma, she'd think it was normal baby behavior, same if she only had Jordy. They just seem extra different because there's comparison. As far as the eating goes, Emma wants to eat, she's just bad at latching on for some reason. She's chill if my cousin pumps and uses a bottle, she's just got boob issues. So she's hungrier if they forget to bring the bottles/pump.
Well, yeah, personalities differ :p Aaaw. Some babies just never latch on and/or prefer the bottle. It might be easier with one being on a bottle and the other being on a boob. No real fighting for the space.
ugh that has to bit!!!
right? ugh. We got it fixed finally. Its so nice to be not boiling!
Yeah, it's definitely different for her but also I think she's giving in to the bottle being preferred for Emma. It's not a bad thing at all - whether it was breastmilk or formula, but she's had people harping in her ear since her first kid that boob is better, which is absurd but I'm glad she's moving out of that mindset.
It does suck - I'm glad yours is fixed though!
Good !
That mindset is not good. At all. Glad she's moving away from it.
Yeah - there's some...very annoying people in her husband's side of the family. We already went through this with her older sister who was just worried, but also reassured by my mom's information about me and my sister. I'm glad she's at least getting past it now.
Me too. LOL SO today, I got to drive for the first time since my surgery. It was nice. I got some curbside pick up flowers for mum's bday tomorrow. We'll be planting some. The others are going for her Mother's day gift. Also wrapped her gifts. I had to buy some eczema cream. I made my own hydrotherapy lol. I put Epsom salt with some antibacterial soap and warm water. I soaked for 20mins and then put the eczema cream on. I'll do it again before bed. Hopefully it'll help. The dead skin is flaking everywhere.
read above :D How are you?
