Luisa just hit tier 5 :) I suppose that is decent enough to finish the year on. I was hoping for Cieran to reach tier 9, but that probably won't be doable.

I know right.... Thankfully the littles aren't really gonna be all that spoiled. Once I get them to 7 AP ... the hardest part will be battling for all the extra amulets and tomes x.x;;; I think I just signed my own way into the funny pages.

I only have 3 pets left to get to T8 and then I can finally remove all the low tier weapons from my armory. They are all at T7. I finished farming all the easy and medium challengers with one and I am dreading having to do it again with the next two x.x;;; reading is also the worst They all have at least 30 AP but no where near as smart as they need to be.

I would not spend too much on low Tier weapons since your pet will go up in tiers pretty quick if you battle every day. That being said, you will want to pick up the gorgun from the battle shop to have as a 100% freezer and the Phoenix quill for 100% heal. The quill is useful even at the highest tier

Battling and the training center are the cheapest way to level your pet. The "best way" depends on your goals.

What amulets are you referring to, mage amulets? Mage amulets can be turned in to the mage for a chance at tomes

Things are quiet on the battle front at the moment, I've just been pottering along with BQs in the background. Severus can easily beat everyone now except Menecuda and Biting Cake. I was thinking of shoving battle shop boosters at him before the end of the year to see if I could maybe nudge him almost into tier 13 but I really haven't had much time. He's still over 8k away so I don't feel too bad about it.

What do you do with shards from the Mage? Just exchanged all of my amulets and now have a lot of them. Do they have any purpose or should I just fragmentize them?

I use them to chuck at opponents like baen to squeeze a win out of them xD

But yeah shards can be equipped to your pet to give you high block in that element once per battle. They are a last ditch effort type of item but the mage gives you a lot of them so you are never short on supply :p

oh thank you for pointing me in the right direction! Oh I'll go get those two now. I think i have a freeze wand right now. Im hoping to get to a new tier before the new year, but after reading on the tier stats i think i'm relatively close. And the mage amulets. Guess i gotta save those for the time being!

I started those yesterday but they threw me at something in like tier 5? or atleast something i KNEW i couldnt handle. Should i Just start over or try to skip and hope for the best?

Edit:

In the beginning you won't be able to do too many battle quests, but if you make sure to do them regularly and spend the earned EXP on raising stats, you will progressively get further. BQs are a great way to raise stats much faster than by only using the training center. As long as you have a Gold account, you can skip two quests a day (otherwise it's one), but only do so if you're sure you can't beat an opponent. When the opponents you're getting are too strong, just start over the next day.
