Aaah, I see. Sorry, I misunderstood a bit! Yeah, I wish more people would have just blocked and rolled, but shrugs some people like the adrenaline from the drama? I guess? Makes no sense to me in either regard. I am a little concerned about site security, though, if people are able to access inactive accounts so easily? If I'm being honest I don't know what real protection we have these days against bots or hack-attacks.

What am I hearing about a hack? Honestly I missed all the events leading the SB shutdown, and now I'm 100% in the dark. Do you think we might at least get some forum points out of this?

in the SB a day or so ago, there was a troll n the account look like it could have been hacked since i dont think that user had been online in a while

I'm sure there are other people on Subeta/SB that are from Canada who might be more familiar with the system and resources for obtaining better information. I am not sure who but I am sure there are...! That just seems so offhand and irresponsible to me. :c

I doubt it is related to the SB shutting down, or anything at all really, but a few nights back: what looked to be an older, inactive user account, had likely been hacked by a bot or some such? It was posting obscenities, sending weird items to users, and generally harassing people in the SB for a bit.

Really, just a friendly reminder to us all to update our passwords and make sure we all use the PIN feature for account access and important withdrawals around the site. x'D

I didn't think you could set a bot up to sends items to people but you never know, I guess everything is possible. I just hope it'll be back up at some point cause I'm finding this entire pinging business very tiresome. wishfully pings entire thread
