Hiiiiii. It does feel weird not to have it, but typically, when things are too rocky in the SB and an admin can't get people to move on, they'll put the SB in a time-out. I've never seen a time-out last for quite this long, though I guess it would depend on whether or not there was anyone available to open it back up again.
Charity is HERE (Riverside, Free Food Center) You can donate any food items to her during Fireside. Periodically, she will give you something in return! I'll dig through my stuff and see what extras I have to send you as well!

Awww I'm sorry you have been having a stressful emotional day. I have been having the same. Been trying to get long term disability because of my medical conditions is a pain having to fight tooth and nail. -curls up under blankets too- Oooo blanket fort sounds nice.

basically is, if stores/other businesses are effected by it, then it is one even tho we just eat n fooball things today. my clinic is closed, the pharmacy near me n the one i use are closed, some stores close early (tho i wouldn't mind working holidays like this one so i can make money And be away from family-tho i dont live with or close to any anymore)
I have been lurking here and there in regards to the updates/downtime but so far I haven't seen any mentions of specific things being worked on, in what order, or why some things are pulled down. More so, just periodically letting users know what they've recently tackled and taken care of... There was also that random troll in the SB the other night but I don't know if that had anything to do with it closing or not. :/
But it had begun to auto-refresh at one point while also randomly/occasionally eating posts again. I seem to also recall someone having trouble with SB-related CSS suddenly not working.
also tbh, if I were staff, I'd just be tired of seeing the same people constantly complaining about the updates/lag/etc.

honestly its best to block any troll you see asap, anywhere you are. they only keep going if they get attention much like an annoying kid. and yep i think an admin n a couple others css wasn't working for SB. i know mine wasn't
do you make extra $$$ if you work Holiday shifts? cause those are always very appealing.

oh man, i'd hope so. (i haven't worked yet) i mean you got ppl who Have to be home for holidays, like parents n ppl who have to cook for the day, so there should always be extra shifts open for those days

aah no, I meant that over here you get paid 125% or 150% of your hourly rate if you work on holidays. depends on how "serious" the holiday is I guess? IDK. I know I got paid 200% for working on election day which was very nice indeed.

Aaah, actually, I wasn't a part of it. I was only lurking and saw it actively harassing other people. I decided not to join in because I don't feed trolls. Now, I might lean on a bully or rude person here and there, within reason, but trolls deserve nothing. This seemed likely to be an account that was hacked or taken over somehow? Doubtful it's related in the end.
Yeah, so you can sacrifice items to the Bonfire at Veta Lake, but you can also donate any food to Charity at Riverside. You can also donate any pumpkins to Fantine this time of year. Sending over some extras from Charity now(ish!)
It really depends on so many different factors. Some disabilities are automatically approved for certain advantages/programs but not always long-term disability without (essentially) a court-hearing to argue the case after an initial denial? It probably heavily depends on your state guidelines and whatnot.
ALSO if anyone is looking for anything, in particular, they haven't received yet either ping or comment me what it is I very likely have or will soon have an extra to send over. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
